Blood & Magic is a real-time strategy video game released by Interplay Productions in 1996 which uses the Dungeons & Dragons license and is set in a previously uncharted area of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting called the Utter East. Blood & Magic revolves around the powerful magic of the Blood Forges, ancient magical items with the power to create vast armies of loyal followers for their users. Players use their Blood Forge to create Basal Golems, which can either generate mystical energy to power the forge, explore the land and fight, or be transformed into a number of more powerful units. The game features five pre-generated campaigns of three missions each, or the option to play a random campaign over all 15 maps. Blood & Magic's single player game consists of five regular campaigns of increasing difficulty, followed by a world conquest (a long campaign during which the player conquers all 15 maps and then challenges the gods themselves). In all regular campaigns the player can choose one of two sides of conflict. To unlock the next campaign, the player has to finish the current campaign at least once. The storylines of all campaigns are typical fantasy tales (without any explicit AD&D references), although each campaign has its own take on the genre. The stories are told between battles by a narrator voice (often in verse) and illustrated by gradually uncovered pictures. Like my content? Call of Cthulhu is a role-playing survival horror video game developed by Cyanide and published by Focus Home Interactive. The game features a semi-open world environment and incorporates themes of Lovecraftian and psychological horror into a story which includes elements of investigation and stealth. It is inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's short story "The Call of Cthulhu", while also being an adaptation of the 1981 role-playing game of the same title. In 1924 Boston, private investigator and war veteran Edward Pierce suffers from increasingly bizarre nightmares, and self-medicates with sleeping pills and alcohol. He is soon contacted to look into the case of the Hawkins family, who mysteriously died in a fire. As the only clue is a strange picture painted by the supposedly crazy mother shortly before her death, Edward has to set out to Darkwater Island off the coast to find out more about the matter. Wizardry VI: Bane of the Cosmic Forge (originally known as Wizardry: Bane of the Cosmic Forge) is the 6th title in the Wizardry series of role-playing video games. It was the first in the trilogy surrounding the Dark Savant, which was followed by Wizardry VII: Crusaders of the Dark Savant and Wizardry 8. It was developed by Sir-Tech Software, Inc. and was released in 1990 by the same company. While Wizardry VI is based upon previous games in the series, David Bradley completely rewrote the system for this release. This is the first game in the series to feature full color graphics. The game is mouse-driven and runs with EGA graphics. It is also one of the few games in the Wizardry series that does not allow characters to be imported from previous games. The character creation and level-up process is more detailed than in previous releases. The player can choose from eleven races and fourteen professions. There are multiple skills divided into three categories, and magic is divided into six schools. Combat allows several different options, such as thrust or bash, depending on the weapon selected. Wizardry VI is a first person, tile-based and menu-driven RPG. The player's party have come upon a castle that has been abandoned for over a hundred years, and which is rumored to contain the Cosmic Forge, a pen said to control the destiny of time and space. It is said that whatever is written with the pen becomes instantly true. Additionally, nobody knows what became of the King, Queen and Wizard who once lived there. Once the party enters the gates of the castle, the gates close behind them, making escape impossible.
