In the following 30 days, The Xcoder will try out a commercial video editing software: Final Cut Pro. This is the cheapest commercial video editing softwares in the market, costing only $299.99. It has more functions, and looks more professional. It also exports my video faster than I did in iMovie and it does rendering in the background. iMovie does it immediately when I hit the export button, then when it finishes, it will only export the video out.
It only took me 2 hours to export this 26 minute 4K video using Final Cut Pro, and it usually take 3.8 hours to export using iMovie. That is 40% lesser time in Final Cut Pro!

I've reviewed the 2-Bay RAID Storage Center that I've unboxed last week. It's the most cool thing I've ever owned, because I can combine 2 slow mechanical hard drive into one gigantic fast hard drive. The speed of RAID0, consists of 2 500GB 7200rpm HDD, is equivalent to the speed of one SATA2 SSD, and it is also double of my Western Digital My Passport 2TB wireless hard drive that I'm using as my primary data storage.

Today's iOS Development video is going to be all about timers in Swift 3. Unlike the previous Swift 2 or Objective-C, the keyword Timer (not timer) was used instead of NSTimer. We have set the countdown in code to 5 seconds, although we can change it to something else in code, then we hit a button to start the timer.

NOTE: As operating systems and softwares become more and more demanding, as of September 2017 it is impossible to run 2 VMs or even ONE VM on this device. However, it will be kept for historical purposes. Thank you for your understanding.
This is something that is always remained unanswered on the internet, but this has ended since this video was uploaded. I've tested about running virtual machines (even 2!), on the 1.1GHZ Core M processor, the 12-inch MacBook 2015. It managed to do the job, unlike the 15% more powerful Surface Pro 1, it could only handle one Hackintosh virtual machine, and frames are dropping all the time. But in the MacBook 2015 there are no dropping frames (or very little). That's amazing!
This video proofed that you do not need a powerful machine in order to run power intensive tasks. You just need patience to run those, and it will definitely do the job, and also saves some energy!

I have been using Premiere Pro CC 2017 to edit few of my recent videos, and it was a frustrating experience (compared to FCP, which I'm used to it today). Today I want to explain 4 things that gone wrong with Premiere Pro CC 2017. No variable frame rate, no fcpxml export, etc. Please FIX THEM!
Comment down below if you want 4 things I liked about Premiere Pro (compared to FCPX).
