Miniature Rolling Paper Theatre Part 2 the story scroll
Rolling Paper Theatre Part II – The Story Scroll
In this second part of the tutorial I show you how to make the story scroll that goes into the theatre. And… I make a story on my scroll that you can watch. My story is called “A Tale from a Medieval Village”.
This is a nice little story telling project. And I give you everything you need including the script layout and the storyboard layout. You need very little to do this project. 1 sheet of foamboard (or a cardboard box), a knife, glue, a round pencil and some printer paper.
If you make this project be sure to send me a picture. I will put it on my website and email you a certificate of contribution with your name on it. Thanks for watching and Let’s Make Something!!
This project is creative fun, and it only uses one cardboard box. You can make it.
The unique perspective for this project is that you are a snorkeler looking at a coral reef.

This is a fun and easy optical illusion project that makes a ghost appear in a scene. Really works well and people are tickled pink by this illusion. It is a technique that goes back to the 18th century and you need very few things to make this "In a box" project. I show you how to do it step by step.
And there are a lot of creative opportunities with this project. What kind of scene can you come up with?
Amazing what you can do with a simple cardboard box.

This is a fun project where I show you how to make an attractive aquarium out of a cardboard box. There is a whole lot of potential here for you to express your creativity. I show you it all step by step. And I go the extra mile by adding glow in the dark fish and even an aquarium light that cost five dollars (mini LED's).

Complex and complicated cardboard projects can be difficult to work with. It can be difficult to reach into various sections. You can use modular design. This breaks the project into smaller segments that you can work on your bench top then put together into the bigger project. Here I show you how it is done.

A fun and creative project you can make out of cardboard. It is based on the class Rockem Sockem Robots toy. Two knights battle it out in an attempt to pop the helmet off each other.
The inspiration for this project came from a medieval marginalia drawing that I stumbled upon while making a paper castle. The project didn't turn out
as I expected. You can see it and learn more about the inspiration in this video. And... I will work on it some more by doing a version 2.
That should be much improved!
