A judge has sentenced a Capitol Rioter to a longer prison sentence than the one that prosecutors were initially seeking, due both to the actions of the rioter and his pathetic excuses that he offered in court. These Republicans propped him up and they continue to prop him up today, and that's what they've always done. Donald Trump has a ton of supporters still in the house. He's got plenty of supporters in the Senate. We are starting to see some cracks. He's got other presidential candidates saying, oh, we'll all pardon him. But then he is got other presidential candidates like Chris Christie and now Mike Pence, who say, yeah, this dude is screwed, and he did this to himself. So we are starting to see a bit of a shift, but I think the most important thing, as Alyssa Farra Griffin pointed out, these Republicans, y'all know better. Like, you don't have to do this, and let me tell you why you shouldn't do it. We're not done. We're not done with indictments. When Donald Trump was indicted in Manhattan, some of the Republicans who are now trashing him for his federal indictment defended him from that Manhattan indictment. But then when the second round of Indictments came along, they said, okay, you know what? Yeah, this is a big deal. I, I can't continue to support him after this supported him after the first one, but now I can't. So what happens when the third round of indictments come out? Whether it's the attempts to overturn the election or the ones from Atlanta, you're gonna have even more Republican defenders try to flip flop at that point and say, Hey, okay, well now I can't defend him. And at that point, it's gonna be too obvious. So I spent my weekend getting harassed by a Florida State Republican lawmaker who was angry that, uh, Papp and I had done two segments calling out horrible legislation that he has proposed for the state of Florida that would loosen slander and libel laws, basically making it easier for lawmakers like himself to sue media outlets when they say things that he just doesn't like. So even his fellow conservative lawmakers are telling him, one, not only is your horrible legislation, but two, it's unconstitutional. But apparently Alex Henrati, the lawmaker in question who happens to be our representative for our district here that Pap and I live in, got so triggered by these segments by being called out for writing horrible legislation that, uh, about a week or so ago, he emails Pap challenges him to a debate and Pap was gonna be out of town during the time when Andrati wanted to debate him. So Andrati, on Saturday morning at 9:09 AM I'm sitting in my kitchen making pancakes for my children. We're about to enjoy a nice quiet weekend. So I pull up Twitter and I see that I have a tweet from Andrati that says, Hey, fair and balanced. Why did your co-host back out of debating me? And why is, was he so triggered by an email from me? What an embarrassment to Levin Papantonio, big bad Pap says he can't debate little old me because he'll be on his yacht. Now, I don't know if Andrati is fully aware of who Mike Papantonio is and, uh, what his record is throughout the course of his career. But this little 30 something lawmaker might want to think twice before challenging a member of the National Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame, the past president of the National Trial Association, the man who has taken on corporations in the tobacco industry, the asbestos industry, the oil industry, the drug industry, the chemical industry, and beaten them to a Bloody pulp in court. You really think that you're gonna hold your own in a debate against that man because honestly, I would love to see it.
