Def Jam Icon is a TRASH 3D fighting game, and is the third in Electronic Arts's Def Jam -licensed hip hop video game that ENDED THE DEF JAM SERIES (NOT DEF JAM RAPSTAR). The game was developed by EA Chicago, developers of Fight Night Round 3 and is the first Def Jam game not to be developed by AKI Corporation WHICH IS PRETTY STUPID OF THEM TO DITCH THE AKI WRESTLING GAME ENGINE. Unlike the previous games in the series, the game's soundtrack is completely changeable in WHICH IT SHOWS HOW LAZY THEY WERE TO REMIX THE SOUNDTRACKS, MAKING IT HARD FOR FUTURE YOUTUBERS TO MAKE PLAYTHROUGHS & CONTENTS FOR THIS GAME WITHOUT GETTING COPYRIGHT BLOCKED. The game's executive producer, KUDO TSUNODA, has stated that he did not feel that wrestling and hip-hop went particularly well with each other BECAUSE HE THOUGHT MIXING HIP-HOP WITH WRESTLING IS SOOO STUPID BLAH BLAH BLAH. However, throws and environmental damage remain in the game THAT OCCASIONALLY SOFTLOCKS THE GAME.
As a YouTuber who is a fan of AKI game engine, I hate this game because I don't know what on earth EA Chicago were thinking making this dumpster fire. I don't want to make a playthrough for this game but since a lot of people want to see me play this crap, then I have to do it. This is gonna be the most painful playthrough I ever done on my channel.

This game is so obsessed with choppers and I hate it. Bombing that bridge is not fun when I have a chopper on my ass and the only way to avoid the CCK heli's spotlight is by doing a huge leap down which only work if I time it properly. ?♂️
The next part will be the last chapter.

This is not a good game at all. Controls are weird and there are some bugs in it. For example, you got a headshot but the enemy is still alive and starts moonwalking till you shoot him again. There is also a bug that the stage theme would stop suddenly. I'm not having fun playing this game but I have no choice and must do a gameplay for this side game otherwise my Sift Heads playlist wouldn't be completed.

Requested by Jesse Vargas. Doing grapples over and over again are less risky compared to continuous striking. So, my playing styles are spamming grapples and trying avoid doing any strikes...and manipulating the AIs as well.

Haha This game, man...Oh dear, I don't know where to begin with this one. I've been told that Thing Thing 4 is a good game but this is nowhere good enough. A lot of lags everywhere, neither Flash Player nor Newground can handle this game. The enemies in this game are annoying as hell because when you jump, they jump too which is a very nasty programmed AI. I don't like it when there are respawn points almost everywhere for the AIs because it is too broken imo, how is it 'fun' to just spawn kill them all?
Level designs are okay but you need to kill a lot of enemies to unlock the next levels, I'm not a fan of this one. Some levels are too small and there are like 3 spawn points in that levels, I honestly don't know how to survive that. It will take a long time to kill them because the AIs know how to jump, it's awful.
Some levels have high platforms. You need to do double jump backflip to reach them. I don't know why double jump frontflip won't help you reach those platforms, it's weird when you think about it. Unlike the previous games, the boss fights in this game don't have health bars, why is that? Why removed them? Why decided to remove something useful in the game?
The soundtracks in this game are great, made by Rockwell. I don't know much about this guy, I might see his works again in other Flash Games I guess. The first level has copyright soundtrack though and I didn't even bother to remove it. Hopefully it will not get a copyright claim.
I did all the achievements and unlocked all weapons offscreen. I don't want to record myself doing all the achievements because it will take a long time to complete them all. Who would even want to watch 4 hours gameplay for this game anyway?
All in all, this game is too ambitious for it's own good. It's not a good game anyway. I'm not enjoying this game one bit. Well, hope ya'll enjoy watching this gameplay.

Yep, this game has everything alright. I did my best to fix all of the above problems except for the graphics downgrade issue during the Intercept Mission. I have no idea why the graphic quality downgraded specifically for that mission alone. I didn't press Q through the whole game, it just happened on it's own.

Honestly, Pyrozen needs to stop putting copyright songs in their games. This is one of the reasons why there are not many gameplays for this game on YouTube. I added extra sounds in this gameplay like the Shelby GT500'S engine sound, tire skid, car doors sound effect etc just to avoid getting copyright. Also, I changed the main menu theme to avoid this gameplay from getting blocked worldwide.
Anyway, enjoy the gameplay.

Match requested by Ayye Dre. Two dudes fighting the crap out of each other in Timb. boots. I had Timb. boots years back, they are comfortable to wear. I don't think they are quite light for any kind of flexin' like that though. Anyway enjoy the vid :)
