Now, he will do "Riding on the Clouds", which will raise the Level Limit to 70. This quest is pretty easy as long as you have a guide. Heorot resumes at his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he finds payment for a Fire Cluster that sold on the auction house. Thank you, purchaser! Bastok Mines (time 0:51): Heorot teleports to Ru'Lude Gardens, Jeuno. Ru'Lude Gardens (time 1:54): Heorot talks to Maat at H-5. Maat issues the quest "Riding on the Clouds". First, Heorot must acquire four Kindred's Seals. Any monster over Level 50 that yields experience points can drop a Kindred's Seal. Then, Maat will provide four hints. Each hint describes a person in one of the starting cities, in Selbina, or in Mhaura. Once he gets all four strange stones, he must bring them back to Maat. In my case, Maat gives the following hints: 1. A girl whose fiancé is all the way in Selbina. 2. A lady looking for another tasty frog. 3. An old man running the Consortium warehouses. 4. A pioneer of the Palborough Mines. For the first hint, Heorot teleports to Mhaura in the Kolshushu region. Mhaura (time 5:36): At G-8 in the Goldsmith's Guild, Heorot finds Celestina. She is the "girl whose fiancé is all the way in Selbina". When Heorot trades a Kindred's Seal to Celestina, he receives a Spirited Stone, a temporary key item. For the second hint, Heorot teleports to Windurst Woods. Windurst Woods (time 7:53): At K-10 just north of Leviathan's Gate, Heorot finds Sola Jaab. She is the "lady looking for another tasty frog". When Heorot trades a Kindred's Seal to Sola Jaab, he receives a Somber Stone. For the third hint, Heorot teleports to Port San d'Oria. Port San d'Oria (time 10:19): At H-9 in Cargo Room B, Heorot finds Fontoumant. He is the "old man running the Consortium warehouses". When Heorot trades a Kindred's Seal to Fontoumant, he receives a Smiling Stone. Fontoumant is also a quest-giver, but Heorot does not accept his quest. At least not yet. For the final hint, Heorot teleports to Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 13:02): At J-6 in an upper house on Ore Street, Heorot finds Babenn. He is the "pioneer of the Palborough Mines". They also examined the petrified queen, and the magicite Odin became Raiden. Afterwards, the party climbed the Cultists' Tower. They found Edgar's final tool, the Air Anchor. A little farther up, they defeated the Holy Dragon and obtained a Holy Lance. At the top of the tower, they obtained the Soul of Thamasa and defeated the Magic Master. Now, the party will go to Thamasa for Strago and Relm's side quest. Then, they will deal with a problem at the Opera House. World of Ruin - Overworld: The party resumes outside the Cultists' Tower. The current lineup is Celes, Locke, Sabin, and Strago. The party boards the airship. Falcon (time 0:38): Sabin unequips his relics and Force Shield. Belowdecks, the party forms a lineup of Celes, Locke, Strago, and Relm. Relm equips the Force Shield, a Peace Ring, and an Amulet. She also equips Bahamut. On the deck, the party takes the controls. Overworld (time 1:50): The party flies to Thamasa. After landing, they enter town. Thamasa (time 2:09): As the party enters town, a cutscene sequence with Strago and Relm takes place. Strago decides to go to Ebot's Rock to hunt the elusive Hidon. After the scene, the party gains control outside Strago's house. Gungho is upstairs in the house, but he is not informative. The party drops by the item shop to stock up on a few things. Afterwards, they leave town. Overworld (time 6:22): The party flies a short way north from Thamasa and lands on a pentagonal island with a mountain. They enter Ebot's Rock. Ebot's Rock (time 6:38): The party starts on floor B1 of Ebot's Rock. The following enemy types appear in this dungeon: Aspidochelon, Creature, Mahadeva, Medusa Chicken, Moonform, Sorath, and Warlock. No chests are required for the treasure chest total, but they contain Coral that the party will need. The teleporters in this cave transport the party to randomly chosen destinations in the cave. So, it is difficult to make a precise walkthrough of this location. In the boss area, a talking chest blocks the way. Ravenous, it demands some Coral. To be specific, it wants at least 22 pieces of Coral. Giving it any fewer than 22 pieces does not count and is a waste of Coral. The party explores the cave. They open chests to acquire random amounts of Coral. In this version of the game, the Coral total is shown under Key Items in the Items menu. Celes reaches Level 37. Locke reaches Level 37. After the party has collected 22+ pieces of Coral, they seek out the save room. Relm equips Zona Seeker. Relm reaches Level 31. She reequips Bahamut. Celes equips Zona Seeker. After encountering each enemy type in the area, the party uses a Tent and saves at the save point. Then, the party navigates to the boss area. They approach the chest and stuff it with 22+ pieces of Coral. Afterwards, the chest reluctantly gets out of the way. Strago reaches Level 39. Strago has a line of dialogue when the party approaches Hidon. Afterwards, he equips Golem. When the party examines Hidon, the boss battle begins. Hidon comes with four Erebuses, which are weak to different elements. Hidon uses physical attacks and abilities that inflict poison. It is also the only enemy that uses Grand Delta, a lore for Strago. Locke can steal a Thornlet or a Teleport Stone. Hidon is weak to fire, earth, and holy. The party casts Golem and Zona Seeker to buff themselves. A cast of Quake or Ultima wipes out the Erebuses. After Hidon has used Grand Delta and Locke has stolen a Teleport Stone, the party goes on the offensive. Ultima wipes it out quickly. At the end of the battle, Strago learns the lore Grand Delta. Hidon drops a Teleport Stone. After the battle, a scene with Strago takes place. The party automatically returns to Thamasa. Thamasa (time 21:00): Back in Thamasa, a sequence of scenes with Strago, Gungho, and Relm takes place. Relm really turns the screws on Gungho at the end! After the scenes, the party gains control in Strago's house. They reexplore town. Some of the townspeople have "new" dialogue, but the party has already visited most of the locations they hear about. The party rests at the inn. At the relic shop, they pick up a few more Peace Rings. They stock up again at the item shop. They get a few things at the armor shop. At the weapon shop, they get another Man-Eater and stock up on Fuma Shuriken for Shadow. The party leaves town. He has earned a total of 161 Job Points as Red Mage. In this video, he will do some more Job Point grinding as Red Mage in Escha - Ru'Aun. Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He picks up a Merit Point upgrade. In his delivery box, he receives gil for an Ice Cluster that sold at auction. Many thanks to the buyer! Then, he heads out to Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 1:15): Heorot teleports to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago. Misareaux Coast (time 1:36): Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5. Up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence at G-5 to enter Escha - Ru'Aun. Escha - Ru'Aun (time 2:12): Heorot arrives at H-11. After summoning his Trust NPCs, he hunts some more Eschan Il'aern in this zone. Due to an untimely encounter with a Warder of Temperance, Heorot retreats through the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago. Misareaux Coast (time 28:37): Heorot uses the Undulating Confluence at G-5 to reenter Escha - Ru'Aun. Escha - Ru'Aun (time 29:10): He summons his Trust NPCs and continues hunting Eschan Il'aern. Heorot accrues 1 Job Point for an overall total of 162 Job Points earned. He has a current total of 6 Job Points. When he has finished for now, he uses the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to return to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago. Misareaux Coast (time 1:04:19): Heorot arrives at G-5. Just down the hill to the west, he uses Home Point #1 at G-5 to teleport to Port Jeuno. Port Jeuno (time 1:04:55): Heorot trades his Crests to Shami at H-8 for storage. Next, he teleports to Port Bastok. Port Bastok (time 1:06:41): Heorot talks to the Greeter Moogle at J-12 and trades 1,000 login points for a new Facility Ring. Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets. Bastok Markets (time 1:08:10): Heorot trades his Copper A.M.A.N. Vouchers to Isakoth at E-11. In Mjoll's Goods, he sells his loot to Olwyn at E-11. Then, he teleports to Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 1:09:49): At the auction house, Heorot puts a Lightning Cluster up for sale. Afterwards, he enters the residential area. Mog House (time 1:11:18): Heorot signs off. At the Temple of Prayer, he helped them run the shop to earn money for Crutos. He has helped them earn 500,000 gold so far. In the process, Davilas explored the Temple of Prayer and the Fabol Mine. Now, Davilas will continue helping by carrying out a quest for Emelda, who has appeared at the Temple of Prayer. Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan housing area. I'm guessing she lost it between Sanmen Gate and Gran Zedoura. The next objective is to talk to Tortam. Davilas talks to Tortam at D-6. He asks Davilas to defeat Angeropes in the Fabol Mine and acquire a Shiny Fiber. Davilas uses the Soul Candlestick to teleport to Fabol Mine. Fabol Mine (time 5:37): Davilas arrives at B-6 by the door to the Temple of Oblivion. He goes east and targets Angeropes (あらなわ明神). They sure don't look happy. After a couple of battles, Davilas acquires the Shiny Fiber (シャインファイバー) key item. The next objective is to take this to Tortam at the Temple of Prayer. Davilas uses the Soul Candlestick to teleport to the Temple of Prayer in the Shining Meadow. Shining Meadow (time 9:19): Davilas enters the Temple of Prayer at F-4. Temple of Prayer (time 9:39): Davilas talks to Tortam at D-6 and hands over the Shiny Fiber. Tortam gives Davilas the Projector of What You Seek (お探しプロジェクター) key item. Davilas must give this to Emelda. Davilas talks to Emelda at E-6 and gives her the Projector. This triggers an event. The Projector shows the collapsed statue in North Lebuel Road. This is definitely between Sanmen Gate and Gran Zedoura. Davilas's next objective is to search this location for Emelda's pendant. Davilas uses the Soul Candlestick to return to Astoltia. New Eteene Village (time 12:12): Davilas Zooms to True Gran Zedoura. True Gran Zedora Castle Town (time 12:32): Davilas exits south at D-8/E-8 to the True Gran Zedoura Region. True Gran Zedoura Region (time 13:02): Starting at F-2, Davilas heads west. At C-1, he exits west to the True North Lebuel Road. True North Lebuel Road (time 14:07): Davilas starts at G-4. He starts following the road west. At D-4, he goes south along the western plateau. He drops down to the road near the collapsed statue. At D-6 just south of the collapsed statue, he examines the sparkly spot in the road. He acquires the Old Pendant (古びたペンダント) key item. He must now deliver this to Emelda in the Temple of Prayer. Davilas uses the Soul Candlestick to teleport to the Temple of Prayer in the Shining Meadow. Shining Meadow (time 16:36): Davilas enters the Temple of Prayer at F-4. Temple of Prayer (time 16:57): At E-6, Davilas talks to Emelda and gives her the Old Pendant. Quest 693 complete! Davilas's rewards include 10 Gold Bars (きんかい). An event takes place. Emelda pays the shop 500,000 gold! This concludes the goal to raise a million for the temple/shop. The next objective is to put the money in the safe. Tortam at D-6 has story information. Davilas examines the safe at D-7/E-7. This triggers a scene with Crutos and the Dwarves. Unfortunately, the Evil Demon Povadius shows up and steals the money, safe and all! Davilas's next objective is to go to the Temple of Oblivion in the Fabol Mine to help the Dwarves get it back. Crutos at D-7 has story info. A boss battle is coming up, so Davilas will change vocations before he goes to the mine. He uses the Soul Candlestick to teleport to the middle level of Folion. Divine Capital Folion (time 25:40): In the pub at F-4 on the middle level of town, Davilas changes his vocation to Level 124 Minstrel. He is still in special training mode since he has reached the level cap. While in town, Davilas also rests in the inn at D-3. Fortunately, the inn is free!
