Outer Wilds started out as a student game project which released as a free download back in 2013, it was loved by space game fans and in 2015 it surprised many people by wining the Indie Games Festival Grand Prize at the Games Developers Conference. This week it was finally released in a polished up form with much more story, locations, mysteries and dialogue. I love it.
It's by no means an accurate representation of space, most planets are smaller than asteroids in the solar system, but that doesn't matter when you have a compelling world full of widgets to explore.
Seriously, I had so many questions about this I threw a quick video together to explain.
The lifetime insurance deadline has passed, now you only get 2-6 month insurance, but you can still sign up and get Alpha/Beta access and better starter ships.

The source data and parameters for this are identical to it's other, more popular sibling, however I only display new discoveries for 2 months after initial observation, so the view doesn't become overpowered by older discoveries and the patterns become even more obvious. This also has the nice effect of making it easier for youtube to process and encode the video.

Warning! This is a Horror Game intended for grown ups, don't watch this if you haven't already seen the original (and best) Alien movie.
Seriously, if you haven't seen the original movie you should make an effort to do so without spoiling it. And if you're too young to watch it the avoid anything to do with the Alien franchise until you're old enough!
I also have a version of this without my voiceover

Questions are selected in the order they appear, some questions are repetitions of questions that have been previously asked, so I skipped those. The Questions are answered from memory rather than with research, expect mistakes.

The developers pushed out an update which means I have to summarise an hours worth of base building, firefighting, pirates and asphyxiation so I can try the new update and risk dying due to starvation or the attention of Killbots.
It didn't go well, gave my builders too much to do so they never got around building the hydroponics tables, and, I didn't realise right away that nutrient paste dispensers could be used before the garden was built.
I am terrible!

To quote from clickbait 'The answer might surprise you' - lots of references still say the mighty F-1 engine used on the Saturn V is the post powerful rocket motor ever, but, there have been more powerful motors, depending on how you define your question.
