The Hollywood Reporter recently pointed out how Star Wars The Mandalorian and Star Trek Picard have switched places in season three, with a distinct difference in quality before and after – and in the case of the Disney+ series, quality nosedived.
What could have happened on season three? Is Jon Favreau no longer running the show? There is evidence to suggest he is not, and that Kathleen Kennedy and her Acolyte Dave Filoni instead are running the Mando-verse into the ground.
In order to put that evidence into context and explore the implications of it, @AndreEinherjar will begin this editorial by revisiting the origin of the Mandalorian and Jon Favreau’s rumored intention with it, the one big mistake Bob Chapek did, and where the Mando-verse is likely to be headed now.
