Star Wars The Clone Wars Chronology 40 The Mandalore Plot
The 40 episode of TCW chronology. There are rumors of conspiracy on Mandalore, so Obi-Wan Kenobi is tasked to investigate. This episode introduces Duchess Satine, the Death Watch, and the Darksaber (the latter two which have major ramifications in the Rebels cartoon and the Mandalorian series). In this episode, Prime Minister Almec dismisses Jango Fett as not a Mandalorian; the old EU has a more detailed explanation as to why that is the case (Jango was more-or-less disowned/person non gtata), but my headcanon indicates Almec was being a snooty elitist and attempting plausible deniability.
The 125 episode of TCW cartoon chronology.
This was one of four episode reels that was ultimately never fully finished for the revival (as of this upload).
Anakin and Obi-Wan attempt to escape Utapau while carrying an oversized kyber crystal.
The 15 episode of TCW chronology.
While Grievous claims that his "upgrades" were voluntary, in Legends (and passingly implied in canon) it was a self-delusion/attempted rationalization.
I've watched the 2003 Clone Wars miniseries, and while I'm disappointed with how Grievous (and everyone else) got nerfed,(there's the fan-theory that the miniseries was an actual in-universe propaganda piece (exaggerating everyone into OP territory does make some sense)), I still enjoy TCW cartoon because it's more "realistic" and closer in comparison to the movies.
The finale of TCW begins.
At long last, the (in)famous Siege of Mandalore begins in the twilight moments of the Clone Wars.
(The episode is concurrent with just before the start of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith)
The 28 chronological episode of TCW cartoon.
Cad Bane begins kidnapping Force-sensitive children while the Jedi do all they can to stop him and find the missing children.
The 119 episode of TCW cartoon chronology.
The Jedi stumble upon the wreckage and belongings of Master Sifo-Dyas--the man who originally commissioned the creation of the Clone Army of the Republic.
The name "Sifo-Dyas" was actually a typo in the script that was nonetheless accepted and worked with.
The novel "Darth Plagueis" beautifully details and illustrates how exactly Sifo-Dyas was manipulated by the Sith for this part of the plan.
The 19th chronological episode of TCW cartoon.
When the Separatists start testing a new weapon (the Defoliator), the crash-landed group vows to defend the locals.
The 55 episode of TCW cartoon chronology.
Senator Padme Amidala still attempts to speak of peace even when besieged by opposing senators and bounty hunters.
This epsiode establishes that Mas Amedda (the blue-skinned alien with multiple horns) knows Palpatine's secret (as if it wasn't obvious beforehand).
