She was a stray cat that used to come over who needed affection. We were able to get her adopted by someone who gives her plenty of love. She was one of the cutest cat I've ever seen and so fluffy. It was awesome to cuddle her. We named her Fluffybutt.
I used Blender, Pixplant 5, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag 4, and finally Affinity Photo 2. The gun is not 100% authentic because I didn't had every single references that I needed, but I do think it looks very close and I'm very happy about the results. By looking at all my recordings it seems that it took over 32 hours to finish.
Because OBS hates me I wasn't able to put it on the timelapse when I created the textures inside Pixplant and then doing the final render in Marmoset Toolbag... but still hope you will like it either way.
If you want to see my other pieces that I've done you can check them out here:

Will soon upload the renders in those accounts.
Enjoy.

I didn't design the golden tower, Andron did, all I have done was fixing by remodeling everything from scratch because it was made out of prims and so it had a lot of duplicates, vertices that were not connected, and bad topology. It was impossible for me to work on the UV's and textures in that state. I haven't recorded the texturing process because it always takes a lot of time for me and it's boring to watch, I just experiment until I think it looks good.
If you want to see the world on VRChat you can find it by typing Golden tower, or search for Andron827.

This video is an hour long but in real time it's about 7 hours, 8 hours if we include texturing... hope you enjoy and you learn anything from watching this.
I didn't design the golden tower, all I did was to remodel everything from scratch because the tower has been build by using prims, and when I was asked to work on the UV's and then adding textures I couldn't do it, because it had duplicates, vertices not connected and bad topology, it's why I don't like using prims.
It took about 7 hours, and 1 extra hour for texturing (that I didn't included in the video because I always experiment and it's boring to watch.) If you ever want to visit the world yourself on VRChat, just type golden tower or Andron827.
Enjoy.
This is an old video. I would of done some things differently but because I believe I deleted my old footage from my memory card there was no way I could edit it and polish it more. So I am leaving as it is.
And please, don't mind how I look, I think I had just arrived from work or I had just woken up, which explains why my hair was a bit messy. Was I sad in the video? Maybe, this was filmed a year ago, almost two years. I wasn't doing that great, but I do know when I don't smile I always seem to look angry or sad.
Hopefully you will still find this video helpful. I am much better at shaving with a straight razor now in 2021. I can finish in under 15 minutes and have a perfectly smooth skin. Practice is the key.
