Heritage Foundation Slams Critical Race Theory in New Report
The Heritage Foundation just released a new report titled "Critical Race Theory, the New Intolerance, and It's Grip on America," which criticizes the concept for underpinning identity politics, and “normalizing” belief in systemic racism for the average American.

This video exposes BLM’s curriculum that is being pushed into a public school near you. This is only a small slice of their effort to defund police, disrupt nuclear families, and replace individualism with socialism. It’s straight forward political indoctrination, no objection allowed. It’s meant to teach students WHAT to think, not HOW to think, ignores most literacy and skills-based instruction, and aims to turn children into future activists who will carry the political agenda into the next generation.

The president of Juilliard’s Black Student Union, Marion Grey, insists Black lives do not matter at Juilliard. Grey says she was traumatized after participating in African American theater professor Michael McElroy’s workshop titled “Roots to Rep,” where students were required to listen to a mock slave auction taken from an episode of “Roots.” This video examines Professor McElroy’s objectives, excerpts from Marion Grey’s response video, and a clip from the mock slave auction itself, and analyzes how aspects of Critical Race Theory and anti-racism seem to be at odds with the very people these approaches aim to help.

As cheerleaders headed into a competition Saturday at the Kentucky International Convention Center in downtown Louisville, protesters for racial justice harassed and bullied the young girls, shouting chants laced with profanities and accusing them of "white privilege." Educators should not be “disrupting texts” in our children’s schools. The racialization of classic literature is misguided, and although the movement may have good intentions, we should base instruction around synergy, not dichotomy. The celebration of one group should not depend on the disruption of another, as true wisdom and knowledge is not zero-sum. Let’s cooperate and celebrate, not accuse and cancel. Instead of focusing on superficial skin color, let’s use the universal themes found in classic literature—like courage, friendship, and redemption—to bring us together, and make our students critical thinkers and upstanding future citizens.

If educators feel uncomfortable presenting virtual lessons on equity with parents in the room, then these teachers must reevaluate the appropriateness of the content of these lessons. Further, academic teachers should prioritize teaching the appropriate skills in their content area, and with some exceptions, leave the “messiness” of delving into the vulnerability of things like gender and sexuality for trained counselors and social workers.
