Mathew 10: 32-33
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
We must be very straightforward with you today, because this is a very serious issue. After two years of continued interruptions in food production, global food supplies have gotten really tight, but now that extreme weather events are leading to the mass destruction of crops and the liquidation of beef cow herds, while a bird flu pandemic is resulting in the deep population of millions of chickens. Food supplies are said to get even tighter. And when people start realizing that massive shortages are emerging everywhere, it's safe to say that things are gonna get a lot crazier. When even the United nations starts using the word biblical to describe the famine that the world is facing.
That is a sign that the hour is very late. Right now, food prices are aggressively shooting higher, but given that the federal reserve is still scrambling to contain inflation growth, this is about as low as food prices are gonna get for the foreseeable future. And that. Is gonna have very serious implications during the times that are ahead.
We still have a window of opportunity before the next wave of trouble comes along. And in this video, we're gonna show you why you should use this window of opportunity to buy lots of food and store it someplace safe. Now, when we talk about stockpiling food, some people often think that if they have a couple of months worth of food stored up in their pantry, they will be just fine. But the truth is that this isn't nearly enough for the reality that we're about to face. We actually should have enough food to feed every single person in our household for an extended period of time.
And honestly, Many of us will need much more than that, because when widespread shortages and waves of panic buying start hitting our local grocery stores and supermarkets again, many of our friends, neighbors, and extended family members that did not prepare in advance will come knocking on our doors, asking for help.
Millions of Americans out there are already struggling to afford their everyday necessities. And turning to food banks to have enough to eat and defeat their children. The overwhelming demand that we are witnessing at food banks around the nation, right now, gives us some clues about what we can expect as economic conditions continue to deteriorate.
In Texas 21.4% of residents in the Houston Metro area reported being food scarce, between June 1st through July 13th. According to the U.S. census Bureau's household pulse survey. With inflation, with the gas prices, we are seeing a rising increase in the number of families who come out to us, revealed Shane baker, a food pantry coordinator with Catholic charities.

Global economies aren't the only thing collapsing right now, the whole planet and all of the systems it supports are reaching a saturation point and starting to irreversibly, collapse. The disasters we have been recently witnessing are a clear demonstration that nature is tremendously overwhelmed by our self-destructive behaviors. But what many of us aren't realizing is that at this point, climate change won't be reversed only by reducing global temperatures, since entire ecosystems have already been compromised. And even though we aren't seeing the direct impacts of such disruptions in our lives right now, it won't take long until we do. Because the clock is ticking.
And as opposed to economies that can be reshaped and restructured, it will be much more difficult to repair the damage that has been caused to our planet. That's why today we've decided to bring to light some very concerning reports, exposing the catastrophic effects of the extinction of several species, fresh water, fish, and insects, and why this could result in the aggravation of health crises and global famines, while putting the survival of mankind in jeopardy.
Please subscribe to our channel and turn on the bell to keep updated with the latest notifications. Now this week, a very alarming report released by 16 conservation groups revealed that almost one third of all of fresh water fish species.
Are the brink of extinction. The world's forgotten fishes exposed that 80 freshwater species, which account for over half of all the world's species have already been declared extinct, with 16 of them disappearing in 2020 alone. These numbers underscore that we're losing more than one species of fresh water fish.
Every month. And several migratory populations are suffering catastrophic declines as well. With over three quarters, having disappeared since the 1970s, while populations of larger species weighing over 60 pounds, have dropped even more acutely by roughly 94%. Freshwater fish are essential to the healthy functioning and maintenance of our planets, rivers, lakes, and wetlands, and hundreds of millions of people around the globe rely on them to ensure food security, being the main source of protein of numerous communities.
It's also crucial to the livelihoods of many groups. Especially vulnerable and indigenous communities. As this decline is worsening with each passing here, it could put societies and economies across the globe in peril, the report said. Research has stressed that more than 200 million people across Asia, Africa, and south America depend on freshwater fish to meet their nutritional needs.
