The whole day I experienced delayed departures from each point, and what was supposed to be a several hour journey turned to the whole day to get from Gare de Lille to Victoria Station. But these are gentle reminders in life that we don't always need to move so fast to get to our destinations, the best routes aren't necessarily the most convenient. In this vlog, I documented my experience going by bus, and unexpectedly a ferry from Calais to Dover via the Strait of Dover, and reflect on some of the lessons I have learned from traveling solo.
