Have you ever felt like you did something very good but... You wouldn't be able to keep up with that?
A lot of software developers suffer from what we call "the fear of not being able to do it again...
A lot of developers go on big projects, they have big wins in their lives but they are afraid to give a second shot at that... Mostly, because they are afraid to fail and feel like impostors.

There are some careers that this transition os effortless and happens almost automatically. These careers often include tech related jobs and you kind of get in the field.

"Scaling Up" Book Review
All developer are, at some point, entrepreneurs. Whether you have your own business or your own career, you must develop some business skills. Scaling Up is an interesting business book that might help you with that.
Scaling Up is a business skill, the second version of another great and famous book, called the "Rockefeller Habits". I read the audiobook and I did not find it too good. There were a lot of graphics and things I could not understand very good.
There was also another point that I needed to highlight because I found this book to be not so useful for very small business, such as Simple Programmer. It happens to be more useful for bigger companies, with more employees.
Here is the book description, extracted from Amazon:
It's been over a decade since Verne Harnish's best-selling book Mastering the Rockefeller Habits was first released. Scaling Up: How a Few Companies Make It...and Why the Rest Don't is the first major revision of this business classic. In Scaling Up, Harnish and his team share practical tools and techniques for building an industry-dominating business. These approaches have been honed from over three decades of advising tens of thousands of CEOs and executives and helping them navigate the increasing complexities (and weight) that come with scaling up a venture. This book is written so everyone -- from frontline employees to senior executives -- can get aligned in contributing to the growth of a firm. There's no reason to do it alone, yet many top leaders feel like they are the ones dragging the rest of the organization up the S-curve of growth. The goal of this book is to help you turn what feels like an anchor into wind at your back -- creating a company where the team is engaged; the customers are doing your marketing; and everyone is making money. To accomplish this, Scaling Up focuses on the four major decision areas every company must get right: People, Strategy, Execution, and Cash. The book includes a series of new one-page tools including the updated One-Page Strategic Plan and the Rockefeller Habits ChecklistTM, which more than 40,000 firms around the globe have used to scale their companies successfully -- many to $1 billion and beyond. Running a business is ultimately about freedom. Scaling Up shows business leaders how to get their organizations moving in sync to create something significant and enjoy the ride.

Why You're Always Going To Be Alone In Life: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nw_D6Rt1jlI
Why You Won't Be Happy Unless You Let Things Go
Letting things go... How many times have we heard that the secret to a happy life is giving up control and letting things go...
But what does it really mean? Do we really understand the concept of letting things go?
We could understand "letting things go" as giving up the need for control and letting the universe act in its own flow to keep things running. You literally give up the need to control the outcome.
It happens to you slowly as you grow. You discover more about who you are and what you want out of life, and then you realize there are deliberate changes you need to make to keep up with the changes happening around you and within you.
In this video I'll show you why letting things go is one of the most powerful skills you can develop to live a happy and fulfilling life.

When You Do Things On Guilt
We all fall into the trap of doing things on guilt. Who is the person who have never felt guilty and let it emotions drive its own actions?
Today I'm going to talk a little bit more about acting on guilt and why it is important to understand and get aware of when you're acting upon guilt. Since these are almost imperceptible things (unless they are very strong feelings) we usually don't get aware of those things.
So, how do you identify when you're acting on guilt? How do you identify when someone is making you act on guilt?

What Is The Most Efficient Way To Read Books?
Most people think that only reading books will change their lives. However, most people don't even absorb any information of the books they read. Besides that, it is normal for people to simply discard the entire book once they're faced with some information they disagree.
So, what should you do in order to read books efficiently? Watch this video and find out!

Working With Your Spouse... Should You?
So, this is such a difficult question I decided to answer with a video. Some people get married to other programmers and this is an awesome thing to do. Not only that, you might find your "soulmate" at your company, which is something more common than you might imagine.
So... Is it working with your spouse a good option? There are a lot of things that you need to take into account before answering this question.
Have you ever worked with your spouse before at the same company? How was the experience? Is this a healthy practice to keep the relationship going? What is the downsides of it?

Stop Explaining Yourself Too Much!
There is a super bad habit that we all might be guilty of and you should be aware of it NOW!
Most of us, on some area of our lives, end up giving too much explanation for things that wouldn't require such things. The worst thing is that we end up doing those things without even noticing it!
Explaining yourself itself isn't a bad thing and sometimes some explanation might be needed, even to preserve your integrity. However, when you start to explain yourself too much you end being too weak.
This is a principle you should stick to and start implementing on your life ASAP. This is the third video of a series I've done about topics such as making threats and apologizing.
Don't Make Threats, Just Take Action!:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ei2i3RaNIjc
STOP Apologizing For Everything!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdiZgL5y3KE
