??? PoT-2 - What criteria MUST be met in order for any COVID-19 Test To Be Valid❓ - Pandemic of Testing - DrTomCowan 20211105
? In all three tests, they are NOT testing for a virus.
?They are testing for a 'piece" of the alleged virus.
?PCR - testing for a piece of genetic material.
?Antigen Test - testing for a protein piece of "virus".
?Antibody test - testing for a protein made in response to a piece of the "virus."

?Three Criteria for a Valid COVID-19 Test?
1️⃣ It had to be proven that the piece being tested for came from the "virus." - If the piece did not come from the virus, then there is no way it could be a test for virus.
2️⃣ It has to be proven that the "piece" (genetic material, protein, antibody) is unique material/response to that "virus". If it isnt unique to that virus, there is no way of saying that it is a test for that "virus."
3️⃣ Test Error Rate - We need to know the false positive & false negative error rate. If we dont know the error rate, it is NOT a valid test, since we dont know whether result is true or not.
