Minor 2nd Intervals On Guitar Pt 2 By Gene Petty #shorts Read Gene's book on Intervals:
How To Read Music For Guitar - Intervals
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DXA65BW
Minor 2nd intervals are one fret apart. They are commonly known as a half step. B to C is a Minor 2nd. F to E is a minor 2nd.
The trouble starts when you start using sharps and flats.
A to Bb is a minor 2nd. F# to G is a minor 2nd.
But what if I asked you to tell me what interval Bb to B is?
It has the same sound as a Minor 2nd but because of the rules of "spelling" musical notes the Interval would be called an Augmented Unison.
