A response on Rose Wrist relative to the market versus planned economies in relation to do with the argument on the economic calculation problem. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSkp97wTtzg
Having recently watched numerous response videos on 'Why America Sucks At Everything,' I decided to cover this video, whether I have done so in the past, this is may or may not be a different response.
David Cross of the Gravel Institute makes a lot of reasonable arguments about American healthcare, however, doesn't seem to understand the consequences past the face value of the "free" healthcare here in Britain, nor does he seem to comprehend the reality of the Scandinavian countries.
The crux of his argument falls apart based on the fact that the main American healthcare market is anti-capitalist and since government is the cause of the problems relative to the costs and overall inefficiency, the solution to the problem is to remove government from the economy and healthcare, not to cry out for more government.
I have seen numerous people responding on 'why America sucks at everything' and it seems they typically agree with the points David Cross makes, but are they aware of Direct Primar Care, do they actually know the reasons behind why the American main healthcare market costs got out of control? The answer to that is, no.
Time and time again I have seen this argument pop up relative to American healthcare and is a shame I feel like I'm repeating myself, but how can one help that when the same arguments are being pushed out there time and time again.

Much like a previous video I made in response on Joe Scott's erroneous claims about capitalism, I was asked to respond on Second Thought and have debunked his argument on capitalism. Capitalism is NOT corporatism, It is incredible despite the clear definitions provided even in the dictionary how many people refuse to accept this fact.
As the dictionary states about capitalism:
"an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state."
It is very clear of what it means, for there to be private owners for profit rather than by the state doesn't just mean the separation of private ownership to that of nationalisation, but is in reference to the private sector being left be to regulate itself rather than being controlled by the state.
This reference is given by the following dictionary definition of capitalism:
"an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market"
Second Thought seems to think that the soaring costs of education, healthcare and housing is somehow to blame on capitalism, but ignores all the government intervention throughout the course of a century-long period that has crippled the economy in soaring debt. As I noted in the previous argument in response to Joe Scott's argument, I covered the damaging impact of the interest rates being controlled and much like the subsidies, yet again, capitalism gets the blame for what is not capitalism.
Second Thought's video, to correct in my video, got more than 92,000 likes, I could say I am astonished, but sadly, it is of no surprise. Countless people sadly do not understand economics. I blame that on the state education system as well as the mainstream media. Countless droves are being lied to on a daily basis and no one ever stops to question the validity of such false baseless claims, much like that of the wider gap between the rich and poor, the famous 1 percent myth like Second Thought makes in this video.
I covered previously on the Robber Barons Myth which you can check out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_Izbn5j_9Q

In this video I refute Adam Something on the fatal flaw of free market capitalism. As always what you find are the baseless claims and assertions about capitalism, critiques always make such baseless claims without providing any real world examples to back up what they claim and Adam Something is really no different.
From his made up scenario of being stranded on an island, to his baseless claims regarding totalitarianism comparing business owners to that of 17th century feudal lords illustrates how irrational Adam Something really is. It is every bit as infantile as the claim that working for a company owner equates to slavery, when in reality, it doesn't.
I've illustrated in other videos proving that even throughout the 19th century, such history contradicts his fallacious claims which he tries to go down the usual route of claiming how 'exploitative' capitalism is without going into detail about his alternative, that's because the alternative is an absolute disaster that nobody in the right mind could defend to make argument for.
It is important to reiterate the fact that without the ability for a private individual owner to own and run their own private business, there is no private individual ownership, therefore, no individual ownership. Complaining that a private company owner is the one who dictates how a business is run illustrates the ignorance of the likes of Adam Something, he completely ignores the fact the owner and creator of the business has his or her rights to have created the business in the first place and it is rightfully their own property. To lay claim that employees should have some right in how it is run is erroneous, after all, an employee is not employed for such reason and an employee becomes an employee through voluntary contractual agreement.
Adam Something goes off on a tangent which I didn't go into too much detail about people moving, a free market opens up vast opportunity, they wouldn't need to move, but how convenient of him to use that argument, given the fact his socialism has destroyed the job market and forced people to do just that, Scotland is a prime example for this, why else you think businesses are packing up and moving South of the border?
Even his argument regarding Anarcho-Capitalism is erroneous, making such a baseless claim with nothing to back it with that private security would somehow quickly centralise and act as a gestapo for a company, making such a baseless assertion that under such a system a business owner could commit violent crime and wouldn't be punished for it. Again, nothing to back up such baseless claims, just lunacy ignoring the fact Anarcho-Capitalism is not lawless.
It's quite rich he speaks about dictatorship given the fact that in order to maintain a position of so-calle

In this debate with BadMouseProductions on Libertarian Views I set out in debunking his arguments on Libertarianism. For me BadMouseProductions fails to grasp important things such as Supply and Demand, he doesn't fully understand Capitalism and therefore in my view is the reason he switched from Capitalism to Socialism. There are several points in his argument which will be addressed. In this first part video I explain why Socialism is a contradiction to Libertarianism as you cannot infringe upon an individuals liberty and rights and claim that as Libertarian. BadMouseProductions has a hard time understanding that workers have the free choice to work for other people or starting up their own entrepreneurial business.
As I ask in the video is to point out who is going to stop people such as myself starting up my own private business when they have no government there to stop me. The fact they seek to steal private business owners businesses from them by use of force seeking to prevent individual liberty pretty much proves the contradiction of Libertarian Socialism, you cannot seek to 'PREVENT' individual private ownership and then say you're for liberty at the same time.

In this video, I cover my views about Secular Talk and where I state my differences on his views on the free stuff and the minimum wage. I was recommended to check out his channel and was told he used to have more Libertarian minded views, whether true or not, you can definitely see he has moved more in the direction of supporting socialism.
The purpose of this particular video isn't so much to spark debate, but rather to provide my own personal thoughts on Secular Talk. The guy that runs the show seems a nice enough guy, but I personally do not adhere to his views. The free stuff and the minimum wage arguments are pretty popular so I decided to address those as those stood out for me.

We hear this argument all too often, the myth that somehow things are different this time round because of artificial intelligence. Much like the arguments on automation we were faced with in the industrial revolution during the 19th century, the same arguments persist to this day. As evidence shows, automation will not destroy jobs, instead we continuously see more employment opportunity created and higher job growth as a result of automation and that evidence still stands to this day even with artificial intelligence.
The following articles proves why automation will not destroy jobs:
• https://fee.org/articles/automation-is-not-different-this-time-and-thats-a-good-thing/
The argument on automation kind of reminds me of the broken window fallacy where the critiques can only see from what is staring them in the face from face value, they don't see what is hiding behind the job losses in those areas of the economy as other employment is created in other areas of the economy through automation, which is the very reason why the argument is no different during the 19th century industrial revolution to today, which is why automation will not destroy jobs.

ContraPoints made an argument about capitalism, in this video I explain the inherent flaw of ContraPoints argument about consumer demand regarding price.
ContraPoints doesn't understand that the economy with which we live under today is not capitalism, but corporatism, most importantly, ContraPoints doesn't understand it is the free choice of a business over who their niche is aimed at, doesn't mean you can't get the same elsewhere but for cheaper.
Although I'm sure ContraPoints means well and has good intentions, this particular individual doesn't understand the the real world that we live in, there will always be good and bad people and also fails to understand the importance of prices, such as the information we gather from profits and losses or higher prices in the market.

Javier Milei is an Argentinian Libertarian running for election for presidency of Argentina. I recently came across him through other content creators and it is easy to see why he is growing in popularity.
Argentina has suffered at the hands of socialism for more than a century-long period, isn't it funny how these type of characters grow in popularity where people have suffered the most from the devastating impact of socialist policies, yet, here in the West you have smug arrogant socialists thinking they know better about socialism than those who have lived the true face of it.
Javier Milei is quickly growing in popularity and isn't any ordinary political figurehead, he is arguing favourably for not only decentralisation of money and banking, but the abolishment of the central banking system. That to me is a breath of fresh air, it is exactly what the world needs, more of Javier Milei who understands the fraudulence of the central banks and the corrupt system. He also strongly favours true free trade and if the Argentinian people vote him in, it will be a country to keep a close eye on as it will quickly grow to become the fastest-growing economy, not only in South America, but the world.
Whilst I don't believe all socialists are of ill-intent, many of them are just gullible and don't know any better, but there certainly are a kind who Javier Milei is describing who would want you dead, especially those who label you wrongly a 'fascist' or 'nazi,' they would justify your death in a dictatorship.
Socialism has led to nothing other than extreme poverty and caused the deaths of countless millions of people in the past century alone, every country it has touched, it has caused widespread devastation. It is for this reason Javier Milei deserves his own video right here dedicated to a freedom fighter, as the world certainly needs more of him and less of the tyranny of the likes of the World Economic Forum and Klaus Schwab.
Whilst Schwab and his minions will falsely claim capitalism has failed or that you've somehow been living in a capitalist system, nothing could be farther from the truth, but hasn't stopped brainwashed people claiming that ULEZ and what Klaus Schwab pushes for is somehow capitalism, when in reality, it's anything but.
