I went to the eye doctor yesterday and got fitted for reading glasses & examined. It took hours for my vision to clear up when she put those dilation drops in my eyes. Drops burn like hell too.
I will have my new reading glasses in 4-6 weeks & will be able to see what I am looking at close up for the first time in a year !

After being told by Congressman Mike Thompson's office, I tried to contact 2 news stations in the SF Bay Area. Channel 2 was unresponsive but KGO TV 7 News talked to me and I explained the impasse on deciding whether or not millions will or will not get stimulus money & they said they WILL look into it and also asked me if I would be willing to be interviewed live on the air & I said yes & they will get back to me.

We bought this car and the seller told us it might need a new 12 volt battery and that there were " intermittent " problems with the dashboard display.
When he drove it, the display worked perfectly and when Kathy drove it to San Leandro it worked fine.
Once she parked it, the dashboard never lighted up again and we had starting problems all night so the next day we drove back to Santa Clara, Ca. to get our money back.
It took me 1/2 an hour to get it started when we drove to the Virginia Hills Safeway in Martinez, Ca. and sitting in a cold unheated car made my sinuses get worse.
We gave him the car and got our money back but were out about $130 for the trip which wound up with no car and the money gets put into the bank until we find another one.
