This is video #041 in my gameplay series of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch. They made their way from Hovering Reef 7 to Hovering Reef 2. On the way, they defeated the Blazing Karlos and Craven Piggard unique monsters. Now, they will continue on and enter Keves Castle. The party resumes on Hovering Reef 2. At the Hovering Reef Camp, they talk to Bitbit for "Nopon Register". Bitbit gives them a Blue Nopon Pebble. They receive Bitbit's Collectopaedia Card. They also pick up an accessory from the Traderpon. The party sets Zeon as their Hero. At the camp, they level up with bonus EXP. They also cook some Manana's Battle Soup. As the party continues past the camp, a scene takes place. Someone seems to be tailing our team. The party can climb a vine wall on the southeast side of the central plateau. They find a device that fires a rope slide northwest to Hovering Reef 5, I believe it is. On a lower level, the party hops southwest to find a Container. With a battle, the party finishes mastering their current set of classes. Noah, Eunie, Taion, and Sena change to new classes. They spend some Nopon Coins to boost their ranks a little bit. Meanwhile, Mio and Lanz stick with mastered Defender classes. The party slides northeast down the rope to Hovering Reef 1. As they step forward, a scene takes place. A rope slide provides quick access to the target area. First, the party heads east. Wall vines provide access to the southern plateau and a bypass around the soldiers in the valley. There is a Soldier's Husk in the northeast of this plateau. The party descends the northern vines and continues on. They discover the Ether Mine location. There are plenty of Ether Deposits here, but the party has plenty of Ether Cylinders at the moment. On a ledge southeast of the pond, the party finds a Container. There is a rare item just west of the castle gate. Look out for the Level 64 unique Levnis guarding the gate itself. Other enemies in the area are much more manageable. Part of the valley south of the gate is in the Ether Mine location, and there are more Ether Deposits here. There is a Container in the south, west of the end of the rope slide from the upper level. Among the Keves soldiers and Levnises in the area, the party finds a Level 39 unique Levnis, the Ambusher Tirion. Clearing out the surrounding riffraff before challenging it is advisable. The party approaches the crates in the target area for a cutscene. Another scene takes place as they arrive in Keves Castle. The party starts at the Storage Area #1 landmark in the Hangar, Lower Level location. It is very easy to get overwhelmed by Levnises in this area. There are some that call for help. With some care, though, it is possible to isolate many enemy groups. Each Centuris should be fought in isolation if you can manage it. The ramps to the east and west both lead upstairs. At the Storage Area #2 landmark to the east of the start, the party can find a couple of Containers. One can be reached from the west, the other from the east. There are two sealed doors in the north. I wonder if they lead to Colony 11. In the northwest, the party finds the Mobile Vespa, a Level 41 unique Levnis. It is not hard to avoid, but if you fight it, clear out some of the other enemies first. The southern gate leads back outside. A Container is in the southwest corner of the Hangar, Lower Level. Another Container is up the western ramp. The party goes up the western ramp and finds the Hangar, Lower: West Gate landmark. Next time, they will continue exploring Keves Castle. They, they did some grinding in the Heart of Hades, and Heorot reached Luminary Level 42. Now, they will start the Luminary vocation quest line. Megistris (time 0:28): The party resumes in the church in Megistris City. On the lower level of the city, they enter the pub at B-4/C-4. Within, they talk to Salvarita in the northern corner. Salvarita issues Quest 195: "Ooh ♪ You're Still Sweet", the first Luminary vocation quest. The prerequisite is to reach Luminary Level 10. The party's objective is to defeat five Tap Devils in the Rinkle Region south of the West Orfea Region. The party goes outside and Zooms to the Rinkle Region - Villa destination. Rinkle Region (time 4:54): The party arrives outside the Ruins of Queen Alwe's Villa at D-2. They go southwest to find Tap Devils (タップデビル). The party defeats five of the dancing fiends. As far as I know, there are no particular conditions for this. When the party has defeated five Tap Devils, a cutscene takes place. Heorot meets a woman named Preshianna. The next objective is to report to Salvarita in Megistris. After the scene, the party Zooms to Megistris City. Megistris (time 9:36): On the lower level of the city, the party enters the pub at B-4/C-4. Within, they talk to Salvarita in the northern corner. Quest 195 complete! The party earns the Luminary Shoes (スターシューズ). Heorot equips the Luminary Shoes after the turn-in. The party talks to Salvarita again. She issues Quest 196: "You Like It Hot ♪", the second Luminary vocation quest. The prerequisites are to complete Quest 195 and to reach Luminary Level 15. The next destination is the Poporapa Cave in the Popora Region. The party leaves the pub and Zooms to Pippi's Inn in the East Orfea Region. East Orfea Region (time 12:35): The party arrives at Pippi's Inn in the east. At H-5, they exit east to the Popora Region. Popora Region (time 12:55): At C-2, the party exits north to the Poporapa Cave (ポポラパの洞窟). Poporapa Cave (time 13:13): The party starts at E-8/F-8 in the south. They have not visited this cave before, so they will gather treasures on their way through. Looks like this cave is home to Goodybags. In a dead end at E-4, a red chest contains 3 Fisticups (げんこつダケ). In a dead end at C-2, a red chest contains a Single Phial (まほうの小ビン). At C-1/D-1, the party takes the door to the Deepest Part of Poporapa (ポポラパの最深部). A brief scene takes place within. Then, it is boss time against the Dance Devil (ダンスデビル). The Dance Devil has a few dances to look out for if the party is low level. However, my party has this critter outclassed. At the end of the battle, the Dance Devil provides a base of 800 experience points. A scene takes place after the battle. Heorot meets another character, a Luminary named Chrisley. The next objective is to report to Salvarita in Megistris. After the scene, the party Evacs out of the cave. Popora Region (time 17:50): The party Zooms to Megistris City. Megistris (time 18:06): On the lower level of the city, the party enters the pub at B-4/C-4. Within, they talk to Salvarita in the northern corner. Quest 196 complete! The party earns the Luminary Silk Hat (スターシルクハット). The party talks to Salvarita again. She issues Quest 197: "Come On ♪ Let's Bloom All Over", the third Luminary vocation quest. The prerequisites are to complete Quest 196 and to reach Luminary Level 20. The party must return to the Deepest Part of Poporapa in the Poporapa Cave.
