#SundayMorning #SundayChat #treasureFam #Explore #Emmetsburg I walked 2/3rd of the Five Island Trail (FIT) last Sunday. This week I will complete walking and sharing the trail. We should find the cover bridge in the last 1.25 miles of trail. They are building as time and money permits a multipurpose trail called Five Island Trail or FIT for short. The plan is for a seven miles trail going around the northside of Five Island Lake. Currently there is a three mile stretch running from just west of The Shores to a point to the north. Features such as a covered bridge and a sculpture have been added along the coarse. I have never walked this trail so I will sharing my first time on FIT. Time permitting I'll look at a few more places in this part of Emmetsburg. Leave your thoughts and comments below and I'll make certain I respond fairly soon.
