Microsoft's tendency to jump on trends for short-term profits over user experience. They continue to introduce features no one asked for. I prefer macOS and Linux over Windows despite building high-end gaming PCs and editing rigs. Microsoft seems eager to embrace any gimmick to make money or appear innovative. While artificial intelligence and large language models are useful, I don't want them forced down my throat as a consumer. Microsoft has become increasingly pushy, adding advertisements in the Start menu and search results, making it difficult to remain offline. I feel they've taken a wrong path.
Simultaneously, I acknowledge that ARM-based laptops are likely the future, and competition beyond just MacBooks is beneficial for consumers, promoting better prices and innovation. However, I believe Microsoft is making significant mistakes with their approach and priorities. No one wants their operating system cluttered with gimmicky features. Copilot, though amazing, is essentially ChatGPT in a new skin. I'd rather download and use it than have it pre-installed, as user choice is key.
I wish Microsoft would focus on fixing bugs and improving aspects that benefit everyone. This video and description reflect my frustration with Microsoft's choices over the past few years. While I don't trust other corporations either, I believe Google and Apple do a better job regarding creativity and innovation. I hope you enjoy.
My channel is about technology meets humanity . Sometimes it's a video essays sometimes it's just a chat and sometimes it's in between . If you like to think about the future and past of the human race when it comes to technology well also considering the nuances and that the world is not black and white it is colorful and complex. Go ahead and subscribe. There's always an in between only the dark side thinks on in absolutes.

A discussion about workflow and about how which software you use doesn't matter as long as you can get what you need done with it and you feel inspired will using it. Does it feel good to use? It doesn't matter if it's editing software or something else. for example I'm learning new researching software in order to make more precise relevant and cited scripts for my longer edited videos. This video is mainly about editing software but also discuss other software and talk about workflow and when to change your workflow. The importance of committing to a software for a certain amount of time to know if it's the right one for the job. Research your software pick the one you think suits best it learn it well enough and then decide if it suits your workflow. If you give up too soon you'll never know for sure. There are many skills involved and many software for many different users what's right for one person isn't necessarily right for another.

When I got started with video editing I started in a open source program called Shot cut. I soon found the limitations of the program and then moved on to try DaVinci Resolve. Moving to DaVinci Resolve was the best thing i cold have done. I may owe much of my love passion and career to Black Magic Designs and the decision to make a free version of there NLE. Maybe even more important to not only a create an alternative to Adobe's Subscription based model but a heavy competitor with their affordable license of DaVinci Resolve Studio. It is hard to not feel some sort of loyalty to the company when it has changed my life in positive ways. This video is my story of when I stated an my thoughts and experiences of using DaVinci Resolve Studio as my main non linear editor.
