Ueno Park Walk Through / What to See inside of Ueno Park, Tokyo Japan!
Ueno Park is the first public park in Japan and it was built in 1876. Nowadays, over 10 billions people are visiting the park each year and it is the most popular city park in Japan!
If you wonder why this park is so famous and want to know what the attractions are in this park, I will show you 15 famous spots in Ueno Park on this video!
So i got hands on this raw footage of the Fuji Shibazakura Festival that a man there took while practicing with his drone !
So here it is, i added some nice music and im happy to show it to you ! ❤️ ❤️
You may not know what shibazakura is, but you definitely want to see it.
Yamanashi Prefecture is within a hop, skip and a jump of both Tokyo and Mount Fuji, it is also home to Fuji Five Lakes and the magical Fuji Shibazakura Festival.
Moss phlox is a small groundcover native to the United States.
Its Japanese name, shibazakura, roughly translates as lawn-cherry, and that’s the secret to its popularity in the archipelago: the low-growing shrub comes in a dozen or more shades of pink, and when it is in full bloom it creates vistas of pink blossoms that rival the splendor of the sakura.
An easy day trip from Tokyo, the Fuji Shibazakura Festival happens at Fuji Motosuko Resort, near the base of Mt Fuji (hence the name).
With 800 000 plants packed into 2.4 hectares, the festival promises only the most spectacular views of a number of varietals of phlox subulata arranged around a small lake legendarily home to a tamed dragon, against the backdrop of Japan’s most famous landmark.
Please note: The admission prices change slightly.
Between 18 April and 24 April, and between 11 May and 31 May, admission is ¥600 for adults and ¥250 for children.
During the peak period, 25 April to 10 May, admission is ¥800 for adults and ¥250 for children.
I just wish i would have more such nice drone footage to show so it is now just a litte quickie video, sorry ! ?
I went to an international grocery store in Hiroo, Tokyo!
The name of the store is National Azabu and Hiroo is know for a popular expat residential area since there are many embassies over there and the area is an easy access to a lot of international companies around there!
Everything is a bit (or a very lol) expensive since most of the items are imported and you might get shocked to see the price!
However, when you really miss your home and want to cook something from your home country, it might worth to come here since there are so many varieties of imported products and I know sometimes it is hard to find some specific items at Japanese grocery stores!

For people who love old times or want to feel retro and nostalgic feelings, here in Tokyo, there is a retro styled theme park!
It is located in Decks shopping mall in Odiba and the name of this place is Odaiba 1choume shopping street.
The best part is there is no entree fee!
I have been there few times and loved it so I recorded this time! Enjoy! :)
Shinjuku Station (新宿駅, Shinjuku-eki) is a major railway station in the Shinjuku and Shibuya wards in Tokyo, Japan.
In Shinjuku, it is part of the Nishi-Shinjuku and Shinjuku districts.
In Shibuya, it is located in the Yoyogi and Sendagaya districts. It is the world's busiest railway station.
Serving as the main connecting hub for rail traffic between Tokyo's special wards and Western Tokyo on inter-city rail, commuter rail, and subway lines, the station was used by an average of 3.59 million people per day in 2018, making it, by far, the world's busiest station (and registered as such with Guinness World Records).
The main JR station and the directly adjacent private railways have a total of 35 platforms, including an underground arcade, above ground arcade and numerous hallways with another 17 platforms (53 total) can be accessed through hallways to 5 directly connected stations without surfacing outside.
The entire above/underground complex has well over 200 exits.
Many department stores and shopping malls are built directly into the station.
The basement of Shinjuku Station has been newly renovated, and new spots are being created one after another.
There are many futuristic and fashionable spots, you can enjoy a different space without getting wet in the rain, and you can enjoy a walk.
I visited Chichibu in Saitama Prefecture, a place rich in nature.
The moss blossoms were just at their peak and beautiful.
It is very relaxing to leave Tokyo and come to the countryside like this.
One of my favorite season in Japan is Spring.
The weather is neither cold or warm which is good for those who are planning to visit Japan.
And I know most of us are already planning what to do and where to visit despite crowds around this season.
Shibazakura Festival in Hitsujiyama Park is one of the best place to visit during this time.
Hitsujiyama Park is located at Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture.
This place is close to Tokyo which will take 1.5 hours by train.
From Ikebukuro Station, take Seibu Ikebukuro Express line to Seibu-Chichibu Station from where it takes about 20 mins on foot.
As much as I love the craziness of Tokyo, it's so nice to see the slower and more peaceful side of Japan.
I somehow find it here and I definitely love this place.
I went to one of the famous temples and one of the cutest shops in Tokyo so wanted to show them to you!
The name of the temple is Gotokuji (豪徳寺) and it is said to be the birthplace of lucky cats.
There are more than 1000 lucky cats displayed at this temple and that's something that you don't see a lot!
It is located 10 mins away from Gotokuji station in Tokyo so you do not need to worry about the access to get there :)
For totoro cream puffs, the name of the shop is Shirohige Cream Puff Factory.
There are few flavors and everything is delicious! (and so cute!)
It is owned by Hayao Miyazaki's sister in law so there are his drawing and autograph displayed inside of the shop!
If you are a fan of a studio ghibli, I highly recommend this place to visit!
Went to Nakameguro to see the cherry blossoms.
Nakameguro is a residential district of Meguro, Tokyo.
It is popular for its unique boutique cafes and stores, and the area near the Meguro River is a popular hanami (cherry blossom viewing) destination in mid-spring.
The district is situated along Yamate Dōri Ave and on the southern region of Komazawa Dōri Ave.
