Anybody want to learn N. T. Greek? Anybody want to get on the Low Road to translating the Septuagint and New Testament? If we can get some people to commit, we can do this in six weeks - then you will be able to translate on your own and show the 32 denominations' translator up! Check out the underlying passages yourself. Trust no one! There are lots of liars teaching Bible on YT. How could you trust anyone to tell you what this language says if that one hasn't learned the language of the texts? And why does John start his gospel with Greek philosophy in the first place? Good question. Learn 5 new letters, learn a few new sounds and you are off and running. If interested in an informal course of study, I'm willing to teach the Low Road quickly and with an entertaining and revealing method.
The traditionalist translation of John's Logos Prologue may be tainted with later Gentile thinking, assuming the Logos is Jesus prematurely. Hegesippus' origination of Logos theory 600 BC. Personified Sophia / Wisdom of the middle testament as Logos of the third. Next part - we will translate the Prologue of John word for word together and then compare our translation with one provided by 32 church denominations.
