Minneapolis was ground zero of more than four months of urban violence. marked by rioting & looting & arson by BLM & Antifa. Swaths of the city were devastated. Nevertheless, the left-wing Democrats running Minneapolis voted to de-fund their police department and to rely on "community services" - while retaining private armed security for themselves at taxpayer expense. Predictably, crime has skyrocketed. No one knows at this point where this will lead, but omens are not reassuring.
