I mean, he's a total dirt bag. Now, does he have his father brought into dirt bag world? That's what, that came to mind as I looked at this story.
It's very obvious. And as far as we know, obviously, this has been authenticated. There's no dispute over whether or not this message that they got from WhatsApp is real. And so you have Hunter Biden messaging with his business associate, Henry Zhao over in China. Hunter clearly angry about not getting paid. So based on what we know from the message, he essentially calls his dad into the room. So he sends off this fiery message, you know, I'm here next to my dad. We want this money.

Now, I've talked a lot in recent weeks and months about how funny it is to watch Ron DeSantis campaign go down in flames, and it is fun. I enjoy it. The man is a fascist and absolutely deserves to see his presidential campaign become one of the worst and most mocked in recent history. Apparently, at least 30 people who have worked with Ron DeSantis in the past, both while he was governor and while he was serving in the US House of Representatives, according to a new report, they all expected this to happen too. These are Republicans who worked with Ron DeSantis at one point, and they're all saying the same thing again, the same thing I've been saying for a year and a half, two years now, that, yeah, guy get on a national stage, he's gonna go down in flames.
Here's what they say. According to former Florida, g o p Chairman Joe Gruder, the more he is met by people, the more they're not going to like him. The more he's out there, the more his numbers go down. It, it's not a good long-term scenario for him. I, I fully expected the downfall of his campaign a long time ago. And, you know, it's just funny because I'm pretty sure I've said those exact words, in recent weeks. So it's good to hear that me and the Republicans actually agree on something. Uh, the Washington Post reports interviews with more than 30 people in Florida and Washington, who worked closely with DeSantis, many of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe their interactions with him, indicate that expectations were lower among some who knew him closely in Tallahassee, and that they always expected the candidate to be the challenge.
The report add in interviews, Florida Republicans described an aloof governor who believed in sticks and no carrots, according to a senior Florida official. And whose idea of negotiating was my way or the highway in the words of another, an insular governor who infrequently talked to some senior members in his own cabinet, including his top law enforcement officials or other leading Republicans, a congressman who seemed to avoid any opportunity to make friends with others in the delegation. A politician who rarely tried to connect with donors and supporters and seemed to not enjoy being around crowds or attending events.
I get it. Like, not gonna lie, a lot of those things would probably describe me as well. I'm, I'm not a people person, I'm just not, I don't like to be, to be rude or anything. Well folks, Ron DeSantis, the authoritarian governor of the state of Florida, is officially finally running for president of the United States and everything is going to hell for him. Now, if you thought Tim Scott earlier this week, having his technical difficulties was an act of God, or maybe a sign that this race isn't for you, then you have to look at what happened to Ron DeSantis last night and realize that there is clearly some sort of higher power that really does not want Ron DeSantis to be in this race. There were technical difficulties that really prevented this thing from being taken seriously. The room that they were doing this announcement in where anybody was free to go and watch only had a few hundred thousand viewers, technical difficulties, audio problems, video problems, uh, people were unable to get in that wanted to get in, they couldn't hear, they couldn't see. So eventually then they had to start a new Twitter spaces room, and then they once again had technical problems. I think they peaked out at about 800,000 viewers, so they couldn't even crack a million. A O C actually pointed out to, uh. The one time she played among us with Hassan. Uh, she actually got several million viewers. So just to show you how unpopular Ron DeSantis really is outside his little bubble of Florida, you couldn't even pull in a million viewers. But there was one person watching that Twitter space last night who was loving every second of every technical difficulty, and that, of course, was Donald Trump. Well, last week, Nikki Haley announced that, uh, she's gonna be announcing her run for president this month in February. Well, actually, she didn't announce that those, uh, close to her did, but either way, Donald Trump's gonna have his first real competition for the 2024 Republican nomination. And according to reports, sources who have chosen to remain anonymous have spoken to reporters about how Donald Trump feels hurt. They said he feels hurt that these other people would run against him when they spent the last six years sucking up to him. Now, I'm gonna be honest, like you kind of have a point there. All of these Republicans out there who of course, are considering throwing their hats into the ring, whether it's DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Ted Cruz, Pompeo, all of these people truly did spend the last six years, uh, seven at this point, really sucking up to Donald Trump.
And now suddenly you're like, I'm gonna run against you. I, I, that would be a little hurtful. I'm gonna, I'm gonna say it would be, yeah, I agree with that to a degree, but at the same time, Donald, you are not guaranteed anything. You're not owed anything. You had your chance and you blew it according to these same sources who spoke to reporters. Donald Trump is also repeatedly attacking these individuals as disloyal something that his advisors have told him to please stop doing because it's making you look whiny and weak and it's gonna turn voters off of you. But of course, Donald Trump knows better than anybody else, so he's not gonna take the advice of anyone because he's definitely smarter than everyone. So he's gonna continue to go out there and whine about the fact that he's gonna have some challengers in 2024. And what's gonna happen here is once Nikki Haley officially makes that big grand announcement and says, I am running for president, which it's pretty obvious she's already doing, um, we're gonna see that break.
That's what's gonna happen. Cuz as I said, there's a lot of Republicans waiting in the wings. They want to do it, but nobody wants to be first, right? Everybody wants to jump in the pool, but somebody's gotta do it first to see how cold it is. Well, Nikki Haley's about to do that, and after that, everybody else is gonna start jumping in as well, and Trump is gonna continue to attack them, which honestly is the stupidest thing he can do. The only reason Trump even won the nomination back in 2016 was because we had an overcrowded Republican primary field that split the vote of normal Republicans allowing the fringe weirdos to overcome the uh, uh, primaries and caucuses and put Trump up there. The 2024 Republican Presidential primary is about to really kick off into high gear with Nikki Haley, about to announce officially that she is running for President Trump, of course, already has. And to write a new chapter for our country, we need to turn the page on the past. So the best thing for the country would be to have a president in 2025 who represents a new chapter.
A f p action is prepared to support a candidate in the Republican presidential primary who can lead our country forward and who can win. The Republican Party is nominating bad candidates, who are advocating for things that go against core American principles. And the American people are rejecting them. The American people have shown that they're ready to move on. And so a f P will help them do that. Um, I love how you don't have to mention Trump's name for everybody to know that you are 100% talking about Donald Trump. Like we just need to go to the next chapter. You know, we need to move on. We need new leadership. Yeah. We all get what you're trying to say. Koch network. Why don't you just come out and say it? Why do you have to dance around these issues? Now, here's the thing. This could either severely hurt Donald Trump or tremendously help Donald Trump, right?
There is no in between on this. So let me explain these two possible scenarios here. The first scenario, of course, is that the Koch network is not only, you know, the loudest microphone, but they also have the most money. So if they want to get behind a different candidate, if they want to go to DeSantis or Ted Cruz or Nikki Haley, they're gonna pump everything they've got into that person and that person is going to get helped tremendously. And that of course, is how it could hurt Donald Trump. But I think, and this is the scariest part, I think it has the, uh, capacity to help Trump more than it does to hurt him. Think back to his 2016 election. How did Donald Trump win? He didn't technically win, I know that. But he went out there and he managed to convince people that he, the man with the golden toilet is somehow a populist, that he's an outsider, that he's not taking the traditional Republican money, right? Last year 2021 corporate profits soared by the greatest percentage we have seen in this country since 1976, the biggest year over year increase since 1976, 46 years since we have seen anything like it.
