पावर प्लांट्स में कोयले का स्टॉक इस रविवार को घटकर 25.2 मिलियन टन पर में आ गया,
जो कोयला मंत्रालय द्वारा तय किए गए 45 मिलियन टन के लक्ष्य से काफी कम है.
कोल इंडिया बिजली उत्पादन संयंत्रों को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर कोयला दे रही है,
इससे यह आशंका जताई जाने लगी है कि आगे फसल बुआई सीजन शुरू होने और गर्मी बढ़ने पर बिजली आपूर्ति में बाधा (Power crisis) उत्पन्न हो सकती है.
कोल इंडिया ने अब नॉन पावर यूजर्स सप्लाई में कटौती कर दी है.
ब्लूमबर्ग की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक पहले नॉन पावर यूजर्स को 2,75,000 टन
अब इसमें हर रोज करीब 17 फीसदी की कटौती की गई है.
रेलवे भी पॉवर प्लांट्स को कोयले की सप्लाई के लिए ज्यादा वैगन दे रहा है.
वही कोल इंडिया ने इंडस्ट्रियल कस्टमर्स को ट्रकों के जरिए कोयले की सप्लाई करने की बात कही है.
