But the question I actually have before I get into why your statement is completely stupid is, are you actually stupid or are you just playing this character on tv? Like we know based on past statements made by Tucker Carlson, you know about how Bill O'Reilly pretends to be one thing on the air, but he's really not that way at all. He just knows that's how you do the audience. And I have said for many years that a lot of people on the right are definitely not as stupid as they come across, but they pretend to be stupid so that they can defend the indefensible. And that's exactly what we're looking at here. So Greg Gutfeld, I fully believe is pretending to be a moron in this particular instance. He may be a real one. He may not be.

Donald Trump allegedly instructed these individuals, and it's alleged because he has not been convicted. He allegedly instructed these individuals to wipe the servers clean of all the surveillance footage after the subpoenas came in. And that's what makes it illegal. Now, technically, had Donald Trump just had these people go and delete this server footage, you know, months ago, weeks ago before the subpoenas came, he could have done that. Now, if he knew he was under investigation at the time and instructed them to delete it, even if the subpoenas had not come, then
That would also be an actionable offense. But if there was no indication, if there was no investigation, and he just said, Hey, by the way, guys, uh, let's clear out that server footage, right? It's every, every time you hear this story, it's nauseating to think that corporate America operates like this.

What, what happened is you had a, a lobbyist for Twitter, who over in Europe was saying, hey, listen, we're, we're starting to see a lot of people calling for cheap vaccines, calling for waving the patents so that these poor countries around the world could get the vaccine. Twitter, what we need you to do is we need you to look and, and see how these people are violating your terms of service and get these tweets blocked. You had a lot of hashtags, you know, free the vaccine, things like that going around. So you also had lobbyists from the big pharma companies making these vaccines, Pfizer, BioNTech, Moderna, who jumped on this as well and said, okay, that's a great idea. We're gonna start sending Twitter these specific accounts because these people have the audacity to want the world to get vaccinated.
Well, and, and that's the headline. You had third world countries that said, can't you please share this with us? Because we have people dying by the thousands. And then the company's, I love this statement, the statement, their joint statement is, we take social responsibility seriously. That was their joint statement. How dare you, how dare you say we did this awful thing. Well, it, it, the proof is right there. Now we find out that The Intercept did all this work. Again, it's the same folks. It's Lee Fang with Intercept, great writer, great source of information. And he, he talks about how these bots were created by the industry. And every time anything would show up on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, any of them, the bots would go in there and attack. I mean, big numbers of bots would attack. And they would try to give a rationale so why it's okay for folks in third world countries to die because the American corporation or the European Corporation won't sell in, won't share information with them. This story, to me, is just such an indictment of capitalism. I mean, it, it is. Capitalism, you know, I think capitalism works. But when you see this kind of stuff, and again, there's nothing, no investigation of it.

There's no attempt to really understand it. Corporate media won't do a thing about it. Corporate media doesn't cover this story. You understand that?

You will not see this story in corporate media. It'll show up on, on shows like this. But the truth is, this goes on all the time, doesn't it?
It, it really does. And what is concerning here, you know, obviously with all of the releases of the Twitter files, we've seen, you know, the, the partisan stuff come out. We've heard reports of, you know, liberals being silenced, conservatives being silenced. This goes beyond that. This transcends left or right politics. And that is what people need to understand. Because that is, as, as we've talked about for years here on this show, that's the slippery slope. Because if you're okay with it, oh, well, it's okay if it happens to this people, because I'm not this people. It's gonna come eventually. And this is a absolutely horrendous continuation.

Well folks, it looks like one of the best witnesses that we have against Donald Trump might actually be one of his own lawyers. Evan Corcoran. You know the infamous Trump lawyer who drafted the document last summer that said, we have turned over all of the classified documents. He didn't sign it himself. He drafted it, but he didn't sign it. He made Christina Bob sign it. Now Bob herself has had to lawyer up because of her signature, but Evan Corcoran swore in that document, we have turned everything over. No need to send the FBI down here because you got all the stuff we had. I personally went and I found eight more classified documents and I handed 'em over to you. We're done here. Then of course, a month and a half later, the FBI went there. They found more than a hundred classified documents. So at the time it looked like Uhoh, Evan Corcoran and Christina Bob.
Y'all lied to investigators, but new evidence has emerged that may suggest that Evan Corcoran did not actually lie, or at least he didn't intend to lie, which would mean if this new evidence is accurate, that Evan Corcoran and Christina Bob would be off the hook because the new evidence suggests that Evan Corcoran was quote materially misled by his client, Donald Trump. And that phrase, materially misled is key here because what we now know according to the reports is that Evan Corcoran did actually put in a good faith effort to go and find those documents that the National Archives DOJ said, Hey, they're still down there. So Corcoran personally went and searched the storage room where the documents had been and he found eight of 'em. And then he went up to Donald Trump's aids and said, Hey, I was just in the storeroom. I found these eight documents.
I need to go search more places to see if there's anything else. And the AIDS said, no, no, you cannot do that. We're not gonna let you go. Look in these places, there's nothing there. Don't worry about it. But you are not allowed to look. Go write your little document and say you've done everything you can do. That's what these reports are saying because that is allegedly what Corcoran has told the special prosecutor. And if that is the case, if Donald Trump did materially mislead his own lawyer, then that would mean his lawyer would basically have to become a witness against him in order to protect his own behind. Because if Corcoran was not materially misled, then he could be looking at obstruction or perjury charges. So in order to clear his name, whether he wants to or not, he has to roll on Donald Trump and the rest of the staffers at Mar-a-Lago. And the judge has already said that none of this is protected by attorney-client privilege cuz we believe it was used in the
Furtherance of a crime. So there is nothing stopping Corcoran from telling all that he knows. And based on these reports, it seems like he is saying everything he knows. So it's gonna be fun to watch this play out. But again, the thing that just blows my mind is that the person who may seal Donald Trump's fate, put him behind bars, maybe is actually his own lawyer who he lied to.

The government is gonna start censoring data. No, that is such a stupid and of course, very terrifying thing. You and I talked about this when it was first introduced and we compared it basically to the Patriot Act. Sure we understand you've got great intentions, but you've also put out a program that is incredibly easy to take advantage of and rob Americans of their constitutional rights.

It was a flagrant violation of the constitution. Anybody who took a civics class would see that, but not the Democrat leadership. Oh, this is a great idea. Now let me defend Biden on this. I don't believe Biden even knew what was going on.

But he, he was as, as upset as everybody, it shuts it down. But that tells me something. That tells me who's in charge of what's going on. And are they checking with Biden before they make these big moves? This rollout was, he's not in charge. I mean, that, that's, that's the problem. He's just not in charge. And, and so these, these characters that are making the decision, just unload on him. It's propaganda. This is what was gonna be propaganda. And the next party that was gonna be in control with the Republicans, they'd have a lot of fun with it. Wouldn't they?
Yeah, they absolutely would. You know, if, if Democrats use this and say, oh, well these sites over here are putting out disinformation about health or climate or whatever. The Republicans, when they take back over are gonna say, okay, well these sites over here are putting out disinformation about the government, about this administration. We have to shut them down. It's a tit for tat back and fourth.

It's the old guard Clinton folk from the nineties that Biden has brought back into this administration, all these advisors, it's the same people that have been skulking around DC for 30 years. They feel like they've paid their dues. They want back in. Those are the people calling the shots.

Yeah. What this bill would do is it would basically try to rewrite federal law at the state level, which you already can't do anyway. So it should be dead on arrival. But I guess Andrade and his giant forehead doesn't care about that. So what he's done is he's got this legislation that would basically do away with actual malice, which means in order to prove defamation, you no longer have to have that standard of they did it intentionally. So if you go out there and you accidentally say something, you can be sued for it.
Well, a reporter should be able to project about what they believe is happening. They don't always get it right. Now that's different from malice. It's different from, it's different from the kind of recklessness that the Sullivan case says, look, if you do this, you're gonna, defamation is gonna stick even if it's a public figure.
