Learn how to sculpt polymer clay coins and medallions. In this video I will be going over the steps in making the Aztec gold pirate medallion from Pirates of the Caribbean.
As well as DIY ancient coins tutorial. I will be sculpting with a flexible polymer clay called CosClay.
These coins are for a larger project I am working on. But would also make great medieval prop coins.

In this tutorial I go over the steps involved in making a handmade jewelry ring. This ring has a hammer tone finish that helps it to look like real metal.
I am using CosClay polymer clay for it's strength and flexibility. This clay is perfect for rings that you want to wear everyday and have them NOT break.
I used mica powders the first time around, but these wore off after time. I have now been enjoying the metallic paint look instead.

In this review I compare Premo Sculpey Translucent versus their White Translucent.
I show backed and textured samples. As well as a bit of a look with a backing light and background text.
What I found was that there is not a big difference. But as the name suggests 'White Translucent' it is defiantly more white. Where as the 'Translucent' has a more yellowing look to it.
I personally think that from now on I will just be using the 'White Translucent' mixed in with my colours, but I will do another video in the future on the comparison of using each, mixed in with other colours.
