The power Palpatine used in Rise of Skywalker was force drain when he sucked the life out of Kylo Ren and Rey restoring his body. How powerful was Darth Nihilus? The Sith that could destroy planets using Force Drain. How Darth Nihlius could destroy planets relied on his strength and connection to the dark side of the force. Darth Nihilus force drain allowed him to consume entire planets and feed off its force energy. Palpatine force drain in legends allowed him to control entire planets population and draining their energy to use for his experiments. Sidious force drain in canon allowed him to drain the life energy and restore his body. Darth Bane force drain let him create a plane of darkness that when anyone stepped into it Bane consumed their life force. Darth Revan force drain allowed him to turn entire planets of Jedi into sith. Darth Malik force drain was used against Revan in his final battle. In a interview with Daisy Ridley she confirmed that Rey was originally supposed to be a Kenobi, and was later changed many times throughout the filming of the sequel trilogy. That tells us that Disney never had a plan for Rey and lied to us throughout the sequel trilogies filming. Daisy Ridley confirms Rey was a Kenobi when they were writing the Force Awakens but then she turned out to be a nobody then they switched it again and make her a Palpatine.
