Fix that Error. I made this video because after conducting research, many people were having the same issue on a variety of different devices. I hope it helps.
@adafruit has great documentation and information at https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruits-raspberry-pi-lesson-5-using-a-console-cable/software-installation-windows
additionally, the driver I used was at - http://www.adafruit.com/datasheets/PL2303%201.0.13.zip
This issue is common with ham radio USB Adapters and maybe some other stuff. Let me know down below if and what it helped you with, then share it to a friend or something....

It is Support Your Parks weekend! This weekend we will be at Shabbona Lake State Recreation Area at Park K-4103.
Here is what is crazy: Carlos, KD9OLN (https://www.youtube.com/c/lifeatterminalvelocity) will be jumping (tentatively) at about 1500 local time (CDT). While jumping, Carlos has the plan to activate 10m as to give Technicians the chance to make some POTA contacts.
I will go live approximately 30 minutes - 1 hour before the jump and make some contacts with the rest of the people who meet up. We can talk about antennas being tested, radios, etc.
I am hoping for a good internet / cell connection.

HEY YOU! Yes you! If you would like to see the AIOC instructions to build, there are several places to view them. www.g1lro.uk has GREAT documentation on everything AIOC and I have several videos with clearer walkthroughs than a live stream (this stream was just for fun. a group of people hanging out on a Sunday).
Other Cables Suck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRCmXQYRLE0
AIOC Part 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOjoBA6dgpw
APRS with the UVK5 - https://youtu.be/nOHxzZ19w7A
Lets build the All in One Cable / AIOC. live on stream!
_____________________
The AIOC is available at https://www.etsy.com/listing/1722469530/aioc-kit-all-in-one-cable-for-ham-radio
This was added to my online store as a request from viewers. If you have suggestions about what to add to the store, please let me know.
_____________________
I will show some of the new updates which occurred in the past year, discuss some ideas for this cable and answer whatever questions I could (maybe not much).
Thoughts: Crossband Allstar repeater with a Wouxon KGQ10H, USDX FT8, FT8 on vhf / uhf with a UVK5.
Have you used a AIOC? Let me know what you think!

The goal of this video, have fun and learn.

From https://github.com/skuep/AIOC -
"The AIOC is a small adapter with a USB-C connector that enumerates itself as a sound-card (e.g. for APRS purposes), a virtual tty ("COM Port") for programming and asserting the PTT (Push-To-Talk) as well as a CM108 compatible HID endpoint for CM108-style PTT (new in firmware version 1.2.0).?
