This Second Movement (Scherzo Allegro "May-Night Fantasy") from J. K. Paine's Symphony No. 2 has been used in the Finale of Episode 4 of "The Gilded Age": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gilded_Age_(TV_series) and this is my piano transcription.
This is my first experiment with the Concert Creator software and I find it quite good. It is possible to achieve much more with the editing of specific fingering rather than using the auto-generated one.

Only a few variations to this great arrangement by Patrik Pietschmann:

In particular, I simplified bars 31-35 because the original diminution was too complicated and unnecessary in my opinion.
Fingering is provided throughout the score.

For this transcription I was initially undecided between a 4/4 and a 12/8 time signature.
The piece involves plenty of contrast between these two rhythm patterns and hence both choices are possible.
With 4/4 there are many triplets per beat and with 12/8 there is more syncopation.
The number of beats per measure also varies multiple times throughout the piece.
I chose 12/8 with some changes to 9/8 and 6/8 when necessary.

This is my piano transcription of the music used in the "This is too much" scene from The Gilded Age, Season 1 Episode 6.
I think the music is just fantastic and it was fun for me to work on its transcription.
