getting-indicted-has-been-a-huge-cash
According to Trump's campaign, the now-indicted former President has now raised more than $7 million since he first teased that he would be indicted, and that number is likely to grow very quickly now that he has been formally charged. Trump is getting everything that he wanted out of this indictment, and he is going to continue to milk it for all that it is worth. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Yes, Donald Trump was arraigned yesterday. And yes, he's been hit with 30, uh, 34 counts, and some of them quite serious, some of them a little more, you know, trivial I guess you would say. But overall, pretty big deal, right? You would think that Donald Trump would be sweating this. I mean, the photographs that we saw of him in court, he didn't look happy even when he arrived. Yeah, he gave his little fist, but he didn't, uh, didn't smile, really. He was, he seemed scared, but I'll tell you what, he's not scared. Donald Trump is loving every second of everything that is happening to him right now. And you know how we know that because of his aid, Jason Miller, because Jason Miller kind of gave up the game on how much Trump is loving this by tweeting out before the arraignment quote, in only three days since news of the indictment, Trump's campaign has raised a record, 7 million, 7 million, that the gullible rubes out there in Trump's cult have sent him since news of the indictment broke $7 million.
Now, technically, we have no way to verify these numbers, right? Jason Miller could just be pulling it out of his butt and putting it on Twitter because they only have to report their, you know, earnings or, you know, whate what they bring in, uh, uh, quarterly. So we're actually not gonna know for quite a while, but he says it. We have no way to dispute it, so we have to take it as evidence. And to be honest, I am more than willing to believe that there are enough gullible rubes out there that are willing to send an alleged billionaire money because he may have broken the law. I know it sounds stupid when you say it like that, but that is literally exactly what is happening right now. Let's also not forget that, uh, when Trump first announced a couple weeks ago, I'm gonna be indicted Tuesday, and then that Tuesday rolled around and he wasn't indicted. He received 3 million in donations from that Saturday to the Tuesday. His campaign on Tuesday evening yesterday already sent out a fundraising email with a fake mugshot of Donald Trump that says not guilty. So they're milk in this for all that it's worth. And as I said, Donald Trump is loving every second of it because there's nothing he loves more than money. Sure he knows he may be facing trouble in the future, but hell jury trial could be a year away, could be two years away, depending on how many roadblocks his lawyers throw up. And with 34 counts, that opens the door to a lot of legal challenges, right?
And until that happens, until that jury finally convenes and Trump walks into the courtroom as the defendant, he's gonna fundraise off it. But it's not just the money that he's loving, he's loving that all of his political rivals, the people he's spent months or years attacking are now having to come out and defend him like I treated you like dirt. And you have to go and say nice things about me, because bad things are happening. He's loving it every second of it. Now, hopefully that'll change, as I said, when he finally has to walk into the courtroom and look at the jury. I imagine it will change at that point. But up until that moment, you can expect this conman of conmen to continue milking this and take in every last penny from those gullible idiots who will continue to send him dollars and cents until they bankrupt themselves.
