I cut out so much content of me just sitting around confused trying to figure out what I was supposed to be doing, lol!
In the end, I think I figured out of a few things, and I have a few ideas about what I'm supposed to be doing next and I think the next video will be a lot better -- but it will include a lot of traveling around to different places looking for doors to cut open.
And, of course, meeting the Sunbeam at the meeting place, and then observing whatever awful thing happens to the poor Sunbeamers because.. there is no way the game is ending in like 30 minutes.
Am I supposed to start building an undersea base soon? I can't wait to do that because I want grow my own food and just process my own water without chasing down a bunch of poor fishies.
From my experience, I spent hours just bumbling around. Hopefully, the massively cut down version offered here isn't nearly so dry!
So to speak, not much in Subnautica is dry. Except that little island right at the beginning but even that is half wet if you count the bottom half.
This video covers some helpful tips, tricks and tweaks to help you get started with your new Pimax headset! I hope you find this useful and have a great time with your rad new gadget ?
For some reason I pronounce vrperfkit as "pref" kit. Don't ask me why.
Also note that the Pitool Troubleshooting part can help if you get SteamVR crashing after you've updated Pitool. If you get this issue, following my instructions there should correct the issue.

Hi everyone! Today's chat is about game companies who make gibbled versions of PCVR games. "Questification", which is really just an extension of the same old Consolitis that we've been seeing for many years now -- just more extreme given the differences in hardware capabilities.
After I'm done bitching about that, I go into why the PCVR hardware market is failing to meet the needs of todays PCVR gamers -- that is, they've got the high end market covered with many compelling options, but don't have any affordable options -- except the Quest 2.
Love to all my lads, lovelies and everyone in between ?
So yeah, I got unwell again, still not the deadly sneeze though. But I'm fine, and here we go with a game I've had my eye on for a little while: Punji VR.
It takes place in Vietnam, which I think is cool and rarely done. Nice to see compared to the boring "usuals" we get. You can tell I've got a bit of an interest in the Vietnam war, I suspect. One, I've got some gear, and two, my profile picture is me riding on the back of a Patton tank.
This is a really early showing of the game so take everything you see with that in mind. Still, the developer seems to be working on it and he seems to be on the case. I contacted him on twitter, since I noticed he was using Unity, about the bug that causes movement glitches with Pimax and Reverb G2 headsets and he responded positively -- I didn't have any technical issues with the game. So that's a nice change from many developers who don't seem to give a rats ass about anyone using anything other than a Quest 2 or Index.
It's a real shame my pulley system broke a few minutes in, it really kinda mangled my review a bit since it was incredible awkward to move around. Well, hopefully it will stay fixed now. Not sure why it seems to have a habit of falling off my wall lately. But that's got nothing to do with the game.
Anyway, I'll be keeping an eye on this game since sneaking around a jungle is a lot of fun, even if I had very poorly hahaha!

Hi guys! I've been waiting to make this series for a while now, and now is the time to finally do it. I'm reviewing what I'd consider to be 3 of the 4 most compelling VR headsets out today. Unfortunately I don't have access to an HP Reverb G2 so you'll have to look elsewhere for that. Sorry! But the rest I do have.. the Valve Index, the Meta Quest 2 and the Pimax 8k X.
This is a great update ? you can tell I'm having a lot of fun with this, just smashing and bash the crap out of the baddies, blasting away with the new gatling gun. Oh it's so bloody cool!
New map areas, new weapon type -- bashing weapons, new arm gun, new monsters. Just a great time, great work by the devs.

Wow, ok. I really took a beating this time. The evil wizard, who I've since named "Mr Burns" turned out to be the first time I actually got sent packing (unless you count the time I blew myself up playing with bombs in Part 1). His fire ring was a really difficult mechanic, you really need to be ready to hoof it out of range the nanosecond he begins casting. I bet an Archer build would have handled this guy a lot easier, and uh, my offensive magic being purely fire-based (so far? I don't actually know what the whole spell list is like) turned out to be of little use.
I finally got a grasp of just what is going on in this castle too -- the blue puzzle lock requires you to defeat two bosses -- here I take on one of them. I FINALLY solve the puzzle in the room with the pictures as well.
I also learn a new healing spell and have a pleasant conversation with Little Eye Jerk.

Hello lads, lovelies and everyone in between!
TONIGHT, on Jame-Jame's VR, I get roofied,
Richard crashes a pirate ship, and
James gets murdered by an evil wizard.
So this is my first attempt at a playthrough, I hope you all have fun watching, I had fun making it! ☺
Share what you think and especially if you'd like to see more of this style on JJVR's.
As usual, and I hate to sound like a broken record, but if you had fun, please like, subscribe and leave a comment and share this video! ?

Technical Stuff:
On a Pimax, this game doesn't require Parallel Projection and generally worked fine, but there was a bit of culling on the edges here and there. I didn't fix it this time because it really didn't bother me, but next episode I'll pop in the Universal Culling Fix from here. This isn't commonly required, but some games do want it, Blade and Sorcery being a good example.
