Canteen cup Tuesday- Vermicelli and sausage/ New Stove
Working in the woods getting firewood. Stopped for a canteen cup lunch. Used my new stove which worked very well. The pasta was done when the water started boiling. Vermicelli cooks very fast, it is a good quick meal for the trail or camp. The fresh cut oak smelled like Italian table cheese. I set up a Firelite Poncho and cooked up some Bambino Roasted Vermicelli and Polish Farms Mushroom soup. I used an Esbit type stove with my modifications, I used 3 tabs for the meal and tea. My tea cup was a Denby cup from U.K. The poncho is 81/2 x 4/1/2 light weight.
I used a Snow Peak pot for the tea, U.S, canteen cup with a Pathfinder lid.

Went into the woods in a new area to eat and set up a shelter on a cool day. Used my new DAK Stainless Steel canteen and cup and a U.S. Cup. The Shelter was a Firelite camo poncho.
