The concept of a civilian militia gained a bad reputation between the 60's and 90's, but that doesn't mean there isn't a long proud heritage of militiamen throughout American History.

In this clip, my friend Ilya (@DarkLordOfOptics) discuss how prism scopes work compared to traditional scopes. The key is in how prisms fold and bounce light internally to allow for a longer focal length while maintaining a more compact scope body. It doesn't come without tradeoffs, though.
