Carina is exploding with mace movement and is one of the few martial arts practitioners who has learned to blend mace and martial arts together perfectly! Intrigued by how the mace could rehab her shoulder,upper back, and neck issues she continued to learn more everyday. As a martial arts practitioner she is happy to bring the mace into her training to help her skills increase.
At an early age Carina was influenced by her father and learned about movement and fitness. She was among the first girls allowed to play Little League baseball in the mid 1970's and she bought her first weight bench with dumbbells when she was only 11. Growing up she played various sports and ran track and field.

Carina began studying Taijiquan in 1989 and Wing Chun in 1993. She was certified in 2005 and has been teaching along with her husband.

Carina is also skilled with making wooden swords and other training equipment and runs Raven Studios where you can purchase her hand made swords.
