Back in my day there was a PlayStation 1 club. It was called the PlayStation Underground. I was part of a team that developed the content for said club. One of the ideas we came up with was a series of videos and interactive 'mini game' that "educated" folks on how a game is made. My job was to help write, storyboard, script and animate videos that might explain the inner workings of "game making". I was also responsible for modeling, texturing and animating this video. I used 3dstudio max 2.5, Photoshop 3.5, After Effects, and premiere. Do you remember The PlayStation Underground? Unfortunately I only have a few videos from this series which spanned over 2 years with quarterly updated content via the PlayStation disc, which was by subscription only. I think at its peak, there was just under 400k subscribers way back then. This was probably around 1998? 99?.
Are you a fan of the Salty Cracker? Do you like his incendiary commentary? Do you enjoy secular holiday expression through digital fanart?
Do you like cute girls wielding rocket powered baseball bats?
Here is your chance to enjoy four and a half minuets of holiday humor and bliss as a digital Christmas card unfolds before your very eyes!
Watch in amazement as music and art take center stage in a masterful blend of drama and technology.... haha! not really. I started recording some of my Sketchbook Pro sessions and decided, a good way to brush up my video editing skills would be to make a Christmas card with things I enjoyed this year. Salty Cracker and Fallout 76. It’s nonsense. But its fun nonsense. (what do you expect in clownworld?)
If you enjoy it please share the link!
maybe I'll see you in the Salty chat on Rumble and Odysee!
Merry Christmas Salty Army! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

This animation was one of my favorite to work on. I really got to get creative with all the special effect and video post settings. I was blessed with a boss that really let me try new things. I mean we were all learning as we went. (of course the programmers thought they already knew it all.) lol somethings never change.
With my stylus, I drew and recorded snowflakes over a number of hours.
As I am re-training myself in video production, I made an exercise of drawing snowflakes over time and recorded them. I then took the recordings and edited them in an editor and a post-production app. Currently I am using Sketchbook Pro, Kednlive, and HitFilm Express.
The video wants to be played on loop. It's kinda like a Yule Log but as snowflakes! Enjoy!
Be sure to like and share if you enjoyed it!
