Cycling along a dirt road parallel to the construction of the new highspeed train from Bangkok to Lao and China. This is one of many trips I have made whilst video documenting the journey en route.
Originally I had planned to reach Khlong Khanan Chit and perhaps Khlong Phai but had to turn back because I ran out of time and drinking water. Next time I may start at Khlong Phai instead and head back to Pakchong.
Benjakitti Park is a small park with a dedicated area for joggers and cyclists - ideal for accident prevention. The narrow path runs around a man-made lake with a distance of 2 kilometers in length, the bike path is partially shaded, whereas the jogging path is much wider and doesn't have any shade at all.
The path is not that well maintained, it has seen better days, therefore if you are on skinnies or a folding bike with small wheels, you will definitely feel the imperfections.
The park is accessible via the MRT, subway station Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. Another route to take if you want to do some exploring is by getting off at MRT Klong Toey Station and walk through the Thailand Tobacco Monopoly area (the park was/is actually part of the TTM).
If coming via the BTS, you can get off at Nana or Asoke Station, either walk down Nana Road (Soi 2) or Sukhumvit Soi 10, the latter is closer.

Test run of two electric scooters in Bangkok, we were riding the Inokim Light 2 and Inokim Quick 3.
Both e-scooters have a range of approximately 30 kilometers, though the Quick 2 was somewhat easier to handle and it was alot faster too. However the Inokim Quick 3 had larger 10" wheels, giving it much better ground clearance -- which is crucial for navigating Bangkok's footpaths, as they can be quite uneven at times. The Inokim Light 2 had smaller 8.5" wheel size, and the frame was much lower to the ground which mean we ended up scraping the bottom too often :)
The bigger Inokim Quick was more comfortable on longer rides because of larger wheels, and it just seems the tires cut out the vibration better. But the Inokim Light 2 was more fun in terms of it felt much sportier, with a top speed of 34 kph.
Weight was the only drawback of both of these scooters, no they are not light, approximately 15 kgs, which is not easy when you need to carry them on to public transport.

I took my car in for servicing and had 3 hours to kill during lunchtime, since I was within walking distance to Central Pinklao Department Store I thought I'll document the first day of "lockdown" to see what effect it has on businesses.
The video is self-explanatory, I don't need to tell you how our economy is performing.

New Year 2022 Fireworks Display from Icon Siam Bangkok in 5k. The video was taken from Saphan Taksin Bridge, basically whilst standing in the middle of the road, traffic was at a standstill during this period, but we had to rush off the bridge after.
Video speed at 300%.
