PFAS is so dangerous that, if you take one drop, one drop, put it in an Olympic size pool, it's going to have the propensity to cause the physical problems that the, that we're talking about. We're talking about neurological problems, cancers of every imaginable kind for the individuals, birth defects. And, and the big problem here too, and you've discussed this plenty of times, is that it's bioaccumulative.

Which means once it gets in you, it's in you. So every PFAS chemical you drink after that is just compiling and building up inside your system.
And explain why it's in fish. Explain why it's in our drinking water. Talk about that.
Exactly. It's, it's the waste from these massive corporations that have been dumping it for decades. Our, our EPA right now still doesn't know exactly if we're gonna stop this because it's still happening. They're still debating on what the proper limits are, but there's no limit.
50 years. 50 years the EPA has known that PFAS, the first cases we tried was C8. It was a type of PFAS. So, so we found the documents, the EPA understood that all of the rat studies were a disaster. All of the beagle studies, they all died. All the monkey studies, they all died. And it was caused by this stuff that is in our drinking water right now. The second phase of this case that we're handling right now is all these drinking water facilities. The, the delivery facilities. They have so much PFAS in their water it would take a hundred to $200 million per facility to get it out of the water.
And so now what we're looking at, this new study from the Environmental Working Group says, one freshwater fish, just one, if you were to eat that right now for lunch, that's the equivalent of drinking nothing but PFAS basically for an entire month, one fish. And these freshwater fish they're talking about, these supply foods to, to communities. They're a huge source of food for low income Americans who always bear the brunt of all of these environmental toxins.

Native populations. All of these groups heavily dependent on these fish. And we're finding out now we're poisoning you even faster than the rest of us are being poisoned. Because everybody's getting it, but they're getting it worse.
You wanna know how it happened? You know what came out in the trial? Okay. It's 3M and DuPont were the big, big folks in this. They did all this testing. They saw that all the tests were a disaster causing kidney cancer, causing testicular cancer, causing neurological problems, causing birth defects. All of this information they had. A retiring Republican state Senator from the state of Texas has sent a sworn declaration to a federal court saying that he believes his party has in fact broken the law in the state of Texas with their redistricting efforts, specifically it involves Senate district 10 in the Fort Worth area. And according to again, this retiring Republican Senator, man by the name of Kel Seliger, he said that it's very obvious what these Republicans did here. They decided to shut out essentially the minorities, break them up in this redistricting process, so that they would not have enough power to ever have their will counted when it's time to vote. Special prosecutor Jack Smith has now fired back against Judge Eileen Cannon. Over the documents case, specifically the jury instructions that she released a couple weeks ago that basically says you're gonna have to tell the jurors that either Donald Trump claimed all of these records were his personal records, therefore we can't prosecute him or Jack Smith. Judge Cannon had said, you're gonna have to show all of these jurors, all of these classified documents, which we all know they actually don't even have clearance to see. Jack Smith understandably was off about this. And in a filing on Tuesday evening, Jack Smith told Judge Cannon that she quote, uh, rested on an unstated and fundamentally flawed legal pr uh, legal premise, and that any jury instructions that include this information from the Presidential Records Act would distort the trial and of course, unfairly sway the jury into believing something that is actually not true.
In other words, Jack Smith is letting Judge Cannon know, listen, you've put out flawed jury instructions that actually run afoul of the law, and Jack Smith included in his filing, if you don't fix this, because again, it's legally wrong, I have no choice but to take the matter to the appellate court at that point when it comes to that. And notice I said when it comes to that, not if it comes to that, but when it comes to that, Smith will have the clearance necessary to ask the appellate court to remove Judge Cannon from the case, which of course is the best thing that could happen here. Judge Cannon has repeatedly delivered these flawed rulings, these flawed instructions, these flawed decisions from the bench, all of which have favored Donald Trump. And in this specific one, based on the letter of the law, Smith is right. What Cannon has instructed them to do is technically illegal because she is basically telling them, you have to tell the jurors that all of these documents were personal, which if you do that, case dismissed. So she is influencing the jury with these instructions. Now, Trump's lawyers love it. They said, uh, Trump's legal team suggested Canon tell jurors that Trump was authorized to access the classified records during his presidency and that certain precedents allow for former presidents to access certain documents. So they're super excited. However, um, Smith also points this out in his ruling. You can't say that Trump made these his personal documents because there's literally not a single witness who backs that up. So again, legally you
Cannot do this, but it is what it is, right? This is what Canon has done. She overstepped her bounds. She has unfairly given Donald Trump a massive advantage since the very beginning. This is what she does, and it's catching up to her. And I think the appellate court will not hesitate if Smith, you know, has all of his evidence stacked up over the last few months, gives it to them and says, kick her off the case. I don't think the appellate court has a choice at that point, but I'm gonna take it a step further because I don't think removing her from this case is enough. I think that we can go as far as to say, based on the evidence that Smith has undoubtedly been piling up, that she abused her power, which is a crime to aid Donald Trump.

Well, looks like Mike Pence, the former Vice President of the United States, has gotten himself wrangled into the classified document scandal after it was announced yesterday that his lawyers decided to go through his belongings. After more documents were found at, uh, Biden's House recently, Pence's lawyer said, you know what, we're gonna go ahead and take a second look here. We're just gonna make sure, oh no, you've got classified documents here too, Mike. And of course, Pence's lawyers promptly turn them over to the fbi. Uh, there is of course now going to be an investigation into Mike Pence, just like there is with Biden. And as far as we know, Pence's folks have already fully cooperated and they plan to fully cooperate moving forward. So once again, we have another document scandal that, by the way, is in no way identical to Donald Trump's document scandal. Donald Trump's scandal.
Just to remind everybody, and I know I say this a lot, but let me go ahead and spell it out. Once again. The big scandal with Trump's documents is the obstruction and the lying to investigators, which is also a form of obstruction. So that's the problem. Trump has, Biden doesn't have that problem with his documents. Pence doesn't have that problem with his documents. They are cooperating. They're not obstructing as far as we know. So everything with those guys probably should be okay. But of course, this does put another thorn in the side of the doj. You know, they've got one guy that they're going after in a criminal investigation for documents. Now they gotta look into Biden. Now they gotta look into Pence. And if they do charge Trump and they don't charge Pence and Biden, you're gonna have a MAGA riot on your hands.
And I don't mean that metaphorically either. I really genuinely believe Trump's people will riot if he is charged and the others are not. Even though, as I said, it's night and day between these two scandals. But this isn't really about, you know, who's gonna get indicted, who's in trouble, who's not. I, I think the big question we need to be asking right now is, why is it so easy for people to walk away with classified documents from a presidential administration? See, that seems to be the problem. Where is the accountability? Where is the record keeping system? Shouldn't there be somebody looking over someone else's shoulder on a near constant basis saying, Hey, hey, hey, don't walk outta the room with that. No, no, no. Give it back. Thank you. Shouldn't someone have that responsibility? We have an entire department in the government, the National archives, it's their job to take this stuff. Maybe it's time they put a person on the ground in the White House, in the Vice Presidential mansion, wherever they need people to
Make. Make sure these classified documents don't go walking off. These are serious documents, right? They're classified for a reason. They're top secret for a reason. And even though there's probably nothing malicious about what Biden or Pence did, it still is a danger to have those documents just sitting around at your house. People can break into homes. I mean, we recently saw Nancy Pelosi's husband suffer the results of that. Yes, you're a high ranking official. Yes, you have protection, but sometimes even that's not good enough. So we as a country need a better system for keeping track of these classified documents so that they don't continue to end up in the homes of former politicians.

According to recently discovered emails from the Senate judiciary committee, Donald Trump's former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, during the last few weeks of the administration repeatedly emailed the justice department and then acting attorney general, Jeffrey Rosen, asking Rosen and the DOJ to investigate the possibility of the Italians using satellites to hack into American voting machines and change the vote totals, which Mark Meadows believes is what likely led to Biden's victory in November. So this past weekend, Florida, governor Ron DeSantis, his, all his staffers, his high level staffers, they had a team meeting where they talked about the reboot. You know, we gotta reboot the campaign. We're losing donors, we're losing money, we're spending it faster than we can bring it in. Uh, poll numbers are are tanking. Everybody kind of seems to hate us. I'm weird and awkward. So they rebooted the campaign this weekend, and in the five days since that official reboot, things have gotten so much worse for Ron DeSantis. It started off this week with the announcement from the Florida Department of Education that teachers now have to tell students that slaves learned some pretty cool things while being slaves. And DeSantis has been attacked. I mean, the folks at Fox News are defending him. Other folks in the conservative meteor are defending him. But pretty much everybody on the left has attacked him for this.
And even some Republican lawmakers have attacked him for it, including African-American Republican congressman from Florida, Byron Donalds. So Matt Gaetz ended up fighting back against Byron Donalds, who by the way, has already announced he's supporting Donald Trump. So DeSantis picks a fight over his idiotic and completely factually inaccurate teachings, picks a fight with another Republican, and that didn't sit well with other Republicans. Then you had the staffer who created a video that the campaign shared on social media that contained a little too much Nazi imagery. So they had to fire a staffer. And for the record, this was not the first time that the DeSantis campaign had shared a video in support of him that contained a little too much Nazi imagery and the answer to how much is too much. And the answer is, any Nazi imagery is bad. You do not put that in any campaign.
And then of course, you had the incident that somehow managed to off both the left and the right, where in an interview, DeSantis suggested that he would not choose Robert F. Kennedy Jr. As his running mate. But he's not opposed to the idea of considering him for the C D C or the F d A, uh, provided as DeSantis says he would be willing to serve. Uh, Republicans didn't like it. People on the left didn't like it. Nobody really liked it at all. So he's still saying stupid stuff. There's the viral video of him going around like almost scolding the little girl drinking a Slurpee. He is like, there's a lot of sugar in that, huh? Yeah. All right. I mean, he still doesn't know how to interact with people. The reboot isn't working. You know, when you got a computer and you're having just some weird little glitches and issues, the first thing you do is you reboot. And then if upon reboot, those problems still persist.
You know that you've got an inherently flawed machine that needs some serious retooling at that point. Okay? You've gotta run your antivirus programs. You gotta run your anti-malware programs. You gotta get into the system and make sure that there's not something there that's not supposed to be there, that you're not missing some drivers here and there. Well, you rebooted the campaign and Ron DeSantis is still buggy, so the reboot didn't work. I know it's only five days into it, but it didn't work. So y'all are gonna have to run a full diagnostic on this guy because he is just face planning left and right.

Republicans in the house still seemed gung-ho on impeaching President Biden. And of course, earlier this past week we did have Kevin McCarthy go on Fox News saying that the evidence which doesn't actually even exist technically, is kind of pointing towards this evolving into an impeachment inquiry. And that's what's happening over in the house. But over in the Senate, according to a new report, Republicans starting to get a little uneasy, almost starting to freak out a little bit because they understand and they remember history that impeaching President Biden on BSS kind of made up things. Sure, maybe you can get 'em on it, but it's really just technically a technicality. But you could still probably impeach him because you do have the numbers in the house. So maybe you can, maybe you can't. But either way it's not going to work out well. Is the message basically coming from Republicans in the Senate?
Now, here's why this is important, and I've mentioned this a dozen times. I'll mention it a dozen more times by the end of this year. You have Steve Daines, Republican senator who is now the head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, which is the fundraising arm of the Senate Republicans. Steve Daines came out a couple months ago and said, if Republicans do not take back the Senate in 2024, we will not have another chance to take it back till the election of the year 2030. So Republicans in the Senate understand how important 2024 is. You have more Democrats up than Republicans. You have a couple of close races already where the Democratic incumbent is not gonna be there. Kirsten Sinema and Joe Manchin. Joe Manchin's already gonna get the, his clock cleaned. Jim Justice has a 22 point advantage over him in the polls right now.
So Republicans can pick up a lot, and if they don't, they're screwed till the next decade. That is the big reason Republicans don't want to touch this impeachment because most importantly they know they don't have the numbers in the Senate to actually impeach the guy. So it's all fruitless to begin with. They can't convict and remove him. All he can do is be impeached in the House, much like Donald Trump was twice. But more importantly, much like Bill Clinton was in 1998, and unfortunately we actually still have members of the US Senate who voted in that impeachment. They're still serving 'cause we don't have term limits because we're a dumb country. But they remember what happened to them. And that was the first time in the 1998 midterms, 'cause the impeachment happened right before the midterms. It was the first time where the President's party actually picked up seats in the house in the midterms. Bill Clinton's popularity skyrocketed after he was impeached. And Democrats won big in those midterm elections that Republicans were
Projected to win big, but then they impeached him and then they didn't. And that's exactly what the Republicans and the Senate according to these new reports are, are, are basically saying like, listen, we've done this before. We've gone down this path. It did not end well for us. It ended very badly. And you're doing the exact same thing here. You're going to screw us over. We're not only gonna lose the Senate for the rest of the decade, we're gonna lose the house. And most importantly, we're gonna lose that presidential election.
