This is video #048 in my gameplay series of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch. They also carried out the Colony Lambda quest "Securing Supplies", which took them to the Elsayer Cape in the Rae-Bel Tableland. Now, the party will do some more questing and exploring. The party resumes at Colony Lambda in the Great Cotte Falls, Pentelas Region. In the area just outside the gate, they find an NPC with new dialogue. They also learn the info "Auto-Levs". They discuss it at the Lambda Shelter for bonus EXP. The party visits a Traderpon to sell off some Serenity Jets. They will in fact need some for the upcoming quest, but I want to show where to find them during the quest. The party skip travels to the Seilas Terrace Camp in the Rae-Bel Tableland, Fornis Region. When they arrive, a scene with Dorin and Bambam takes place. This starts the standard quest "Fear of the Unknown". The party climbs Bittley Slope to the ridge above the camp. They approach the supply container for a scene. Dorin needs four Serenity Jets. The party goes north to the Old Kana Battlefield to find Serenity Jets. When they have enough, they return to Dorin and Bambam on Bittley Slope for another scene. The party must fight off a Medolya Feris. Another scene takes place after the battle. "Fear of the Unknown" complete! The party skip travels to the Raptor Perch in Dannagh Desert. To the northwest, they enter the Milio Trick Caverns. The first trick puzzle is easy. Rotate the left ring once, and the right ring twice. At the first split, the party can go south for a dead end with an Ether Channel. In the room with a Soldier's Husk, the party must defeat the two Pawn Arachnos to unlock the door. At the second split, the party goes southeast for a dead end with a Container. At the second trick puzzle, rotate the left ring once, then the right ring once, and finally the left ring once more. The party emerges in the Sage's Garden. The door leads to the Sage's Domicile landmark. The party talks to Burrburr, who issues the standard quest "The Thrill of the Hunt!". He wants the party to find 15 Silver Nopon Coins. They already have the coins, so they talk to Burrburr. Then, they talk to Seekseek. Seekseek will give the party rewards in exchange for Nopon Coins. The party picks up an Emergency Bandana. The party talks to Burrburr again. "The Thrill of the Hunt!" complete! I probably should have done this a long time ago. Whatever. The party also picks up an Analyzer Scope. A Container is on the nearby ledge. The party skip travels to Dow Dolmen in the Rae-Bel Tableland. They set Isurd as their Hero. In Elsayer Cape, they take on the Puzzled Raquinu, a unique Bunnit. The fewer Bunnits in its party, the better. The party heads north to the Valley of Anguish. A Soldier's Husk is on the eastern slope, but so is a Level 68 unique monster. The Orochi's Crag landmark is in the valley. Soldiers' Husks are in the north of the valley. So is a device that lowers a ladder to Isnie Ledge below. A Container is on the slope to the east. The party skip travels to Tirkin Headquarters in the Ribbi Flats. Deep in, they take on the Hedonist Tirkin, a unique. Poor thing. A Container and an Ether Channel are nearby. The party skip travels to Raptor Perch in Dannagh Desert. They explore to the north and west. In the sinkhole north of Raptor Perch, look out for the Level 87 Dunesea Marcellus. Spark no! The Zorza's Stonehammer landmark is northwest of Raptor Perch, near the entrance to the Fetos Sandgarden location. There is a Soldier's Husk in the southwest. The Dougis Quicksands are to the northwest. The party continues north along the high ground to the Alefa Skysphere location. Another Soldier's Husk is in the north of Fetos Sandgarden. A Container is on a ledge to the northeast. Dropping to the Apex Wing, the party goes northwest to the Serrato Spring secret area. In the east of the Apex Wing, the party finds a Soldier's Husk. Two more are in the Quicksand Basin landmark. The party skip travels to the Lake Rezzento Camp for the usual camp activities: leveling up, gem crafting, and cooking. Meanwhile, he and his allies continued grinding in the Dematode Highlands. Heorot reached Martial Artist Level 62. Now, the party will earn the platinum trophy for Dragon Quest X Offline. They will also wrap up grinding in the Dematode Highlands. Glen (time 0:28): The party resumes in the church in Glen Castle Town. The party talks to Subjugation Member Garal at G-5/G-6. The "Grass Request" scroll is complete. The party earns 20 Tombola Tickets. The player earns the accolade and silver trophy "Veteran Subjugation Member" for clearing 30 monster subjugation quests. The player also earns the platinum trophy "Astoltia Master" for obtaining all the other trophies in the Dragon Quest X Offline base game. My advice is to start on the monster subjugation quests as soon as possible. At the pub, the party talks to Introducer Gargo. Heorot sets up a friend code for the "Subjugation Member Bangi's Request" scroll, a four-star difficulty request. The reward is 10 Tombola Tickets. The party talks to Subjugation Member Garal at G-5/G-6 again. They sign up for the "Subjugation Member Bangi's Request" scroll. The base duration is 12 hours, but the friends that Heorot assigns reduce that to 10 hours. The party Zooms to the Oasis Caravan in East Gobul Desert. East Gobul Desert (time 6:24): The party arrives at the Oasis Caravan at E-5/F-5. After riding the underground mine carts northwest, they enter the Dematode Highlands at D-1. Dematode Highlands (time 7:08): The party starts at E-4. They go through the tunnel at F-5 and emerge at E-6 in the southern part of the zone. Then, they begin hunting monsters in the area. They still have a Double Bubble and a Metal Perfume in effect. The party takes out a couple of Liquid Metal Slimes (time 11:25). Heorot reaches Martial Artist Level 63. He earns 1 skill point for a total of 24. The party takes out three Liquid Metal Slimes (time 16:18). Heorot reaches Martial Artist Level 64. He earns 2 skill points for a total of 26. When the party's Double Bubble and Metal Perfume expire, they use new ones. The party takes out another pair of Liquid Metal Slimes (time 28:37). Heorot reaches Martial Artist Level 65. He learns the Martial Artist ability Repentance (無念無想). He earns 3 skill points for a total of 29. The party Zooms to Mount Gatara. Gatara (time 31:55): At the pub, Heorot changes his vocation to Level 42 Armamentalist. With the Fun-Size Forge, he crafts a Metal Slime Sword +3 (メタスラの剣＋３). He equips an Oh-no Bow +3 (じごくの弓＋３). The party leaves the pub and Zooms to the Oasis Caravan in East Gobul Desert. East Gobul Desert (time 36:40): The party arrives at the Oasis Caravan at E-5/F-5. They rest at the inn. After riding the underground mine carts northwest, the party enters the Dematode Highlands at D-1. Dematode Highlands (time 37:41): The party starts at E-4. They go through the tunnel at F-5 and emerge at E-6 in the southern part of the zone. Then, they resume hunting monsters in the area. Heorot reaches Armamentalist Level 43. He learns the spell Oomphle (バイキルト). He earns 1 skill point for a total of 30. Heorot reaches Armamentalist Level 44. He earns 1 skill point for a total of 31. Heorot reaches Armamentalist Level 45. They returned to the village of Theddon and acquired the Green Orb from the prisoner. Then, they visited the Pirate Hideout in the south of what would be South America and found the Red Orb. Finally, they did some grinding. Now, Davilas the Hero will explore Gaia's Navel near Lanson. Then, Sylv will take on a new vocation, and the party will visit the town of Jipang. Alltrades Abbey: The party resumes at Alltrades Abbey. They Zoom to the town of Lanson. Overworld (time 0:48): They enter Lanson. Lanson (time 0:52): Now that the party has the Ultimate Key, they check out the shrine to the north. In the eastern room, an NPC speaks of the Yellow Orb. Another in the western room speaks of the companion they left at the Pioneer Town. In the main room of the shrine, the party puts Red the Thief in the lead. She speaks to the priest in the north. Only the lead party member can continue on to the trials ahead. Red accepts, but this will be a very short trip for her. In the hall to the north, Red turns east. She opens the chest for Mini Medal #055! The party will be turning this in in very short order. For the moment, Red heads west. Overworld (time 2:51): Red is in the circular mountain chain west of Lanson. She goes southwest and enters the cave. Gaia's Navel (time 2:56): This place is Gaia's Navel. The Echo Flute reveals that an Orb is here. Red leaves the cave. Overworld (time 3:28): She returns to Lanson. Lanson (time 3:33): When Red approaches the party and the priest, some dialogue takes place. The party reforms. Davilas the Hero goes back in the lead. The party exits town again. Overworld (time 4:29): They Zoom back to Aliahan. Aliahan (time 4:40): The party heads to the Mini Medal Manor. For hitting the 55 Mini Medal milestone, they earn a Flametang Boomerang. Davilas the Hero equips this right away; it is much better than his old Edged Boomerang. At 60 Mini Medals, they will earn an Astraea's Abacus, a Merchant weapon. The party Zooms back to Lanson. Overworld (time 5:57): They enter Lanson. Lanson (time 6:01): The party rests at the inn to recover Davilas's MP. Then, they head north to the shrine. Davilas proceeds forward to the solo challenge. Personally, I feel this is most appropriate for the Hero. Level 19+ is appropriate for most enemies. He receives a letter from Dr. Palmio, who wants to see him in Rendoa. There is a message from Muuron about the end of the Kyurarana Beach event. There are also 10th anniversary voicemail messages from Irusha, Yuraiza, and Talint. Davilas will be meeting Yuraiza shortly. Davilas uses the Abyss Jewel to teleport to the west wing of the Great Demon King's Castle. Great Demon King's Castle (time 4:44): At B-5 in the pub on floor 2F, Davilas talks to Shauna, the Costume Clerk. For clearing the Version 5 storyline, she rewards him with the Great Demon King's Armor, Mask, Gloves, and Boots. The main use of this gear is to create a cosmetic gear set. Davilas also talks to the concierge, Noreija, at B-5. Noreija rewards him with 3 Skill Books for clearing Version 5. Fantastic! Davilas withdraws his gold from the bank. Then, he hires a support party. When that's done, he redeposits most of his remaining gold in the bank. Davilas changes his job to Level 30 Dancer to show the Great Demon King's gear. Afterwards, he changes back to Level 94 Sage. When he is ready to go, he uses the Abyss Jewel to return to Astoltia. New Eteene Village (time 14:38): To start Version 6.0, Davilas Zooms to South Rendoa. South Rendoa (time 14:59): As Davilas arrives in South Rendoa, a brief scene takes place. There is something high in the sky over town. Afterwards, Dr. Palmio shouts down to Davilas from above. Davilas must go see him in Mayor Shigar's office. Olko at E-4 has story information. Davilas takes the door at D-3/E-3 into the train station. At G-3 in the train station, he takes the elevator to Mayor Shigar's office. When he arrives in the office, a scene with the bouncy Dr. Palmio takes place on the balcony. Davilas tries Palmio's trampoline, but he does not achieve the same results. Palmio gives Davilas the Palmio's Memo (パルミオのメモ) key item with a list of things to find. Davilas must collect a few items. One is the Red and White Bamboo Cordyceps (紅白ダケの冬虫夏草) key item found in the Muruel Forest west of Orufea. Davilas also has to collect a phial of Magic Water and a Fresh Egg. Davilas regains control on the balcony of Mayor Shigar's office. Dr. Palmio at D-8 has story information. Davilas Zooms to Orufea. Orufea (time 25:30): Davilas goes out the west gate at A-5 to the West Orufea Region. West Orufea Region (time 26:18): Davilas gains control at D-2 in the north. He works his way west. In the northwest, he takes the exit at A-3 to Muruel Forest. Muruel Forest (time 28:14): Davilas gains control at E-6 in the south. He works his way to the southwestern part of the map. At B-6/C-6, a red chest by the lake shore contains 3 phials of Amor Seco Essence. At the base of the tree at B-6, Davilas examines a sparkly spot. He obtains the Red and White Bamboo Cordyceps (紅白ダケの冬虫夏草) key item. He still has to collect the other items for Palmio. Davilas Zooms to New Eteene Village. New Eteene Village (time 31:44): Davilas examines the sparkly spots at G-4 for free Fresh Eggs (しんせんたまご). He visits Kaeman's item shop at F-5 and picks up a phial of Magic Water (まほうのせいすい). Davilas also picks up some Milk and Fisticups. Davilas Zooms back to South Rendoa. South Rendoa (time 33:53): Davilas enters the train station at D-4/E-4. In the station, he takes the elevator at G-3 to Mayor Shigar's office. Upstairs, he talks to Dr. Palmio at D-8 on the balcony. He hands over the Red and White Bamboo Cordyceps, a Fresh Egg, and a phial of Magic Water. This triggers some cutscenes. Palmio has devised a crazy flying apparatus. The guardians of the Celestial World appear to be Celestrians. However, they are not eager to have visitors.
