EDIT: Afterwards I noticed the left pinion was not straight due to the motor shaft being bent. Hence the sound the car was making. Took me two days of readjusting before I noticed the pinion was out of balance.

Edit: (Yep. I've had about 20 curb strikes with the plastic parts. Worst that happened was bent swing arm. One strike with the metal and total destruction ripping out motors and mounts. Also noticed that the impact tore out one of the 2 screws from the motor mount! https://ibb.co/D745Kgf ) Right there has been a question for a while. Do metal upgrades make your RC Car stronger in one area but just cause more damage further down the car? So the only way to find out was to crash the car twice! Once with the metal parts attached and the next time with the original plastic parts! ???

Well a few people have kindly done so, some quite rudely which I am not going to accept anymore. But one point has been brought up @Mika Allard which I was unaware of until today. That's after watching hundreds of videos, not once has it been mentioned or shown on video. Not even the manufacturer's instructions or videos mention this. No one has ever commented about this on any of my own 19 differential videos. ? So to be clear, when putting the top of the differential back. Put all 4 screws in loosely. Then come back around and tighten them in a criss cross pattern. So tighten one a little and then the opposite one. Then the third and again the opposite of that. Go around doing that pattern a couple times until all are tight. From the forums some of the old-timers do not think this makes any difference, but I do not want to be accused of not doing things properly. Wishing you all a fantastic day.
