We are told to believe that the best "Public Health Advice" given to the government of Victoria is to import plane loads of elite athletes, their staff and officials from regions the same health authorities have designated as hot zones with new strains of "super" "mutant" strains of the virus. The Andrews government has gone from knocking down doors to arrest pregnant mothers for putting the "community at risk" by organising gatherings, to now endorsing corporate entities to jeopardise our fragile situation by importing cases from overseas. Is this the major "Reason" the children of Richmond are being exposed to drugs and death right next to their schools and around their community? This morning a 9-year-old schoolgirl remarked on 3AW radio that her wish when she grew up was to move away from areas where there are drug facilities in Richmond, to a place that is safer to live. These problems are not new, as the leader of the Reason party Fiona Patten and the Andrews Labor government have made multiple empty broken promises to the residents of Richmond throughout the years. They have known since the beginning that these facilities would impact the area, but every single time they are questioned on the effects on the community, empty gestures and grand statements are made about how it will improve the area instead. Worse Fiona wants to bring this at any cost into more of our communities, ensuring more of our children will be exposed to this madness. Farmers in their tractors & heavy machinery in the Netherlands have taken to the streets, blocked distribution centres, sea ports, airports and border crossing in a protest aimed at the Dutch Government's push to force the industry to cut nitrogen emissions by 40%. The policy means that farms would either have to scale down operations or shutdown completely to meet targets in the short term. The policy also aims to reduce livestock in farms by 30%, as well as impose restrictions on the fishing industry to meet requirements to be granted a nitrogen emission permit to operate.
