When we observe our seeds growing and maturing from flower to seed, this process deepens our connection with the cycles and seasons of nature. It helps to quiet mind and create a new understanding of life. Eulogies are really wonderful - they’re just poorly timed. When we lose someone we love, we suddenly feel free to speak beautiful, flowery sentiments of gratitude, affection and admiration; words that we’ve kept bottled-up for years. And now that we’re finally ready to say them, they can’t be heard by the person who needs to hear it most. Let's not wait for another funeral to tell someone how much we love them.
