The Black Keys are an American rock duo formed in Akron, Ohio, in 2001. The group consists of Dan Auerbach (guitar, vocals) and Patrick Carney (drums). The duo began as an independent act, recording music in basements and self-producing their records, before they eventually emerged as one of the most popular garage rock artists during a second wave of the genre's revival in the 2000s.
Auerbach and Carney founded the group after dropping out of college. After signing with indie label Alive, they released their debut album, The Big Come Up (2002), which earned them a new deal with Fat Possum Records.

Founded in 1991 in London. Gary Crosby, bassist and mentor of the band, hand-selected the biggest stars of his field, they are mainly these: Rico Rodriguez, Michael "Bami" Rose and Eddie Thornton forming the brass body; Alan Weekes with the twines; Clinfton Morrison on keys; Kenrick Rowe and Tony Uter running the rhythm section. But, over time, countless other stars joined the collective. All albums have guest appearances. Just like a show, the supernova formed by the merger of these stars is impressive and grandiose.
Jamaican Gary Crosby is the one who holds the reins, from the studio to the stage, he sets the pace. Carrying out a meticulous reinterpretation of jazz classics in a Jamaican guise is the intention of this constellation of musicians. A rich tribute to the fertile legacy left by the jazz movement as a whole. The idea is neither new nor unexpected, but the elegance delegated here is unmatched. With an acidic feeling, they effortlessly stand out when compared to other projects of this kind: Reggae/Ska + Jazz.
Massive was released in 2001.

Bernardes, the project became a duo with the inclusion of Carlos Costa. Both develop strong and textured sounds, in addition to the participation of great names in national dub/reggae on vocals such as Dom Lampa (Julgados/Dubalizer) and Louiz Medeiros (ex D'ucasco). Mixing electronic beats with live guitars and bass was the starting point for Dub Majestic, which translates the entire urban context of their music into the fusion between direct and live.
