This is a presentation and proof on concept on creating a very budget friendly APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System) capable system that can be used in your car, or on the go on foot. This is my review of the Mirkit Foldable Tactical Antenna. This antenna really appeals to the tactical community who want something they can fold up, and go on the go. It does pair well with your basic Baofeng radio, as it comes with an SMA female connector. It's a durable antenna, and seems to be a nice piece to add to your tactical toolkit. The only gripe I had when looking into it was the 2m antenna measurements, but with handheld antenna analysis, there are too many variables to determine how accurate the measurement was.
