Another sad day at Auckland Airport seeing the second to last A340 operator replace their service with newer aircraft. A hot, sunny day welcomed and said goodbye to this beautiful beast however the wind was not favourable and very noticeable in the video. This was my very first and only sighting of the Oneworld livery on any Cathay Pacific aircraft and I'm absolutely overjoyed I finally got to see her. The 747-400 operated daily until 5 January 2016 when the aircraft is switched to a 747-8i from 5 January 2016 until 29 February 2016. Then it will be finally switched to it's regular service when they operate a 777-300ER.
