In this episode we are taking a look at the Reg’d US Mail padlock. In use from 1918 to the 1990’s. Versions of this model were lettered with A,B,E,G,H, J, L, M, N, P, R, RS, S, V, & VS. All locks except those made after 1971 included a distinctive counter window. T, D, and K were used by the Treasury Department. N.P.S. used by the National Park Service. S.D. used by the State Department.
