The Feast of Tabernacles or Booths begins on the fifteenth day of the seventh month after the crops were gathered [representing the harvest of the righteous]. YHWH instructed our people to observe the Feast of Tabernacles by building and living in booths for seven days, as a memorial; to remember that the Israelites lived in booths when Elohim brought them out of Egypt. The feast of Tabernacles is significant because it is also a foreshadow of the Millennial Kingdom that points to the Messiah’s coming reign on earth. This is the fulfillment of the Sabbath Rest where the Messiah will rule in the Millennial Kingdom in peace and righteousness for 1,000 years. Thus, the Israelites will once again dwell "in booths" when we finally return home and re-enter the Promised land, just as our forefathers had done in the first generation. The Feast of Tabernacles is an eight-day event with a holy convocation and a feast to be held on the first day and the 8th day (the last great day). During Tabernacles, we are commanded to bring an offering made by fire as we celebrate and rejoice before YHWH. This week-long celebration is a foreshadowing of the pure joy and happiness the righteous will display upon entering the Sabbatical (Millennial) Kingdom. When Yahshua establishes his kingdom on earth, all nations will come up to Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles from year to year according to Zechariah 14:16-19. Those nations who refuse to come up will receive no rain in their lands [because we will be on earth…NOT IN HEAVEN.] If the nations do not come up to celebrate Tabernacles in the second year, they will receive the plague [curse].
