By now you must have heard or even seen the Netflix series Bridgerton and were no-doubt left in awe at the colorful and sometimes garish sets and costumes. Whether you were excessively diverted or quite put-out by their peacock style, you have to admit, that they are pretty stunning! Today we take a look at some of the prettiest and breath-taking dress designs throughout the series.


The Bridgerton family uses pastel colors with a powdery palette because they are a prominent family. We can see blues, silvers and greens and as Daphne gets older, the colors become duskier.
The designer added layers of tulle that gives it a new sense of movement and fluidity, and also curved necklines.

In the Featherington family we see lots of bright colors and garish patterns because Portia wants her girls to be seen, but their palette is overly citrus. They’re bolder, brighter and more brazen than everyone else.
The corsets were made by Mr Pearl who has done the craziest corsets in the last 20, 30 years.
The designer, Ellen Mirojnick designer of fatal attraction and basic instinct, was trying to imagine a modern style more luxurious and sumptuous with a modern color palette, but keeping the basics of 1813's clothings.
she took five months to prepare before shooting.
Ellen paid a lot of attention to the scooped necklines and how they fit the bust to reflect that this show is is sexy, fun and far more accessible.
They had a warehouse with 7500 costumes, handmade detailed, and also handmade jewelry. Nothing comes from a costume house, everything is made for the show.
