In this week's Share Your Battle challenge, we have been asked to complete a match using Molten Ogre. Molten Ogre is a Fire Splinter monster that has a strong attack and good health but is quite slow. To make up for the slow speed, he has the "Demoralize" ability which weakens the attack of enemy melee monsters. In this post, we will cover my strategy for using Molten Ogre, the results of the match, and my general thoughts about Molten Ogre. All images belong to Splinterlands

One of the most well known blockchain attacks is the 51% attack. In a 51% attack, a malicious actor is able to control more than 50% of the hashing power and temporarily control the network for their benefit. Due to the way that Proof of Work systems operate, an individual (or coalition) with 51% hashing power could disrupt the block creation process in a variety of ways including: excluding or reordering transactions, preventing transaction from being confirmed, or preventing other miners from mining. In this post, I'll explain how a 51% attack works, what it can do, what it can't do, and try to offer some simple ways of mitigating this risk.

Many cryptocurrency enthusiasts (myself included) long for the day when we will finally reach the "Mass Adoption" of cryptocurrency where average people will be able to pay for everyday goods and services with crypto. Although we may not have reached the "Mass Adoption" phase of cryptocurrency just yet, there are nevertheless many services that are making it easier for customers to pay with crypto and businesses to accept crypto. In today's post, I'll describe the difference between consumer centric crypto payment services (crypto debit cards) and business centric solutions (Bityapy/Flexa) and show how both of these services contribute to making crypto payments more accessible. #crypto #cryptocurrency #cro

In this video, I discuss the importance of having a random sample. Random sampling helps to ensure that we can draw accurate conclusions from our analysis. (00:26) I discuss the difference between a random and non-random sample. (00:46) I discuss two main types of random samples: simple random samples and systematic samples. (02:40) I also discuss several types of non-random samples. Things such as focus groups, judgement samples, and convenience samples can still be useful.

Furious Chicken certainly isn't the strongest monster in Splinterlands, but its one of my favorites. Furious Chicken costs zero Mana to use in a match and is a neutral monster which means it can be used as a "buffer" monster in almost any match. In this post, I'll share my strategy for using Furious Chicken, my battle lineup, and the results of the match.

I make less than half of minimum wage writing cryptocurrency related articles. By any objective standard, I would be better off working at a minimum wage job instead of "wasting" my time writing articles, but becoming a crypto content creator is one of my best decisions. Here's why.
